According to this blog's early Media Create numbers, Yakuza sold 380,000, Dynasty Warriors Multi Raid (PSP) sold 200,000 copies.

Who cares about numbers at this point bro? It keeps fluctuating all the time anyways. Just keep on gaming & enjoy it. All the consoles are doing good right now. Great to hear that Yakuza 3 got a great reception, sucks it wasn't released simultaneously worldwide because I know I would have wanted to play it as some other gamers would have also. As far as the Wii goes the Wii has some awesome games, you just have to find the games you like, just like any console. Dalibor out.

I've never understood WHY Japanese releases don't have subtitles. Most American releases have English, French and Spanish on the disk. And there are plenty of people who would buy imports of games (especially Yakuza) if the game had subs.

Plus it would be cheaper than localizing. Just offer a number of subtitle options in the original release instead of hiring actors to provide non-Japanese dialogue.

I think I read somewhere that in order to provide any time of entertainment of sorts (whether it be anime from japan or a foreign made videogame) you have to include english voice-overs or whatever in order to sell it in the States. I highly suspect this rule/regulation came from the FCC (basically promoting English first and foremost, because we are "americans" and the other languages second).

6 - Awesome news for Yakuza!
Hopefully if this game sells well enough in Japan, Sega will be able to afford releasing it in other territories. I'm seriously keeping my fingers crossed for this to happen. It took Yakuza 2 a while, but it did eventually make it over, so there's hope.
