YES!

I loved the first, the slow motion shooting was great. Gory as hell!

I didn't think it was quite as good as Gun however, but still, a next gen western game will kick ass :D

2 - GTA Wild West?
I think there is potentially a really good game set in the American West - is this it though?

That game would include elements like San Andreas - the ability to own properties to make money - ranching, brothels, mines etc.

Also something along the lines of Frontier - trading between towns, taking assassinations, fight for the South/North or just plain banditry in the open.

If this is yet another, go here and shoot people game, then I think Rockstar will have wasted the opportunity.

Well the first red dead revolver was nothing like grand theft auto and once again going by the first game I think there is no chance of property development lol. The game was more level based, but was really fun.

I personally dont understand why every rockstar shooting game should be like GTA. Red dead revolver was original and completely differnet to gta so i dont see the point in ruining the game to copy it. Thats what we have gta for.

They showed this Video Back at E3 in 2006 0r 05 I believe. This isn't new. Im sure there is someone here who remembers besides me.

Edit: I was just watching this a few weeks ago. Look on Youtube under Sony E3 06 and you will see this video toward the end.

You guys do realize that this video is almost 4 years old, right? Of course graphics look dated. This vid is from E3 2005 or something and it's not new. It was released back then.

OMG your right, i just downloaded it and watched, when the sun set and you see the shadows of the buildings, that was all over G4/techtv when they announce the 360 and ps3 stuff. T_T kinda gay someone posted a video of a way old E3 trailer to get some hits.

if the game is still in dev. im sure it look way~~~~~~~ better then this now. especially since GTA4 came out.

This is looking like it's a blatant lie on the part of Sony as they went out of their way to make a post on their official blog and there hasn't been a hint of it since. As the days go on and the failed promises pile up, I'll be surprised if Sony makes it to the next gen. I've all but abandoned my PS3. It now gathers dust unless I want to watch a blu-ray (of which I've also lightened my purchases) and I'll never recommend it as an option to friends and family.
