Resident Evil 5 demo on PSN week of February 5th

"The demo will include two levels and three types of co-op play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3 and two-player across PlayStation Network. Players will be able to pick between traditional RE4 controls, or a new "Action" control scheme, inspired by popular third-person shooters, like Gears of War."

this isn't too bad.. i thought they were gonna delay the demo til close to release for PSN.

but hey, the game demo can't get any closer. Just before KZ2 release, i'll be happily trying out RE5.

think of how much MS had to throw away for this exclusivity, and yet it will be forgotten in a matter of one week.

Paying for DLC (or in this case a demo) is so stupid it's not even funny
50 million nowadays can get you 2 or 3 exclusives, but instead, MS used it on 10 hour DLC a YEAR after GTA IV released (I should mention also that everyone stopped playing GTA IV 2 or 3 weeks after it released)

if only MS were as good about putting out a system that works 90 plus percent of the time as it was as throwing money around for exclusivity on demos and downloadable content.

What they've shown does give that impression, but Capcom promised there are plenty of scares in the game.

Only thing I dislike is not being able to move and shoot, forces the devs into making all the enemies slow so you have time to raise your gun, shoot, move, raise your gun, shoot etc etc

This could have a huge effect on the PS3 version of the game with the KZ2 demo arriving about the same time. Capcom need to get the demo out sooner or KZ2 will make RE5 a non-event on the PS3.

The Killzone 2 demo will only come to those who pre ordered the game with GameStop, while the RE5 demo will come to everyone who has a PSN ID.
