Killzone 2 demo coming to PSN prior to launch

We already saw an article that said this was going to come to the Euorpean PSN, and this article in no way confirms anything other than there is a demo coming. He could literally just be talking about the Gamestop demo. lol. I don't care either way, as there is a Gamestop within walking distance of where I work.

I think most people who are even remotely interested in this game already have it pre-ordered, so I think it really doesn't matter if this demo is released on the PSN or not.

This is great! If there's any PS3 owner that's on the fence about the game, they can check it out without putting any money down on it. Good move by Sony.

This tidbit only states that the demo will be made available "prior to launch"...which could very well mean the day before release.

Incidentally, I received a nice surprise phone call just yesterday afternoon, from the EB Games where I long-ago reserved my KZ2 pre-order. They were calling me to let me know that the preorder demo codes were in, and that they will be active starting February 5th.

That provides us demo code owners with quite a bit of playtime before the game's release date. Honestly, I'm almost afraid to play the demo because I don't want to spoil any surprises for myself.

As far as your comment regarding PS3 haters is concerned:

Who cares! Let them hate all they want! We (and they) know that it's nothing but futile, dying jealousy, bitterness, and sheer stupidity! The game will speak volumes for itself.

Besides, we PS3 owners truly know where the goods are at; it's only a matter of time before all those "haters" convert to PS3 owners for one reason or another (it's already been happening for over a year now, and the momentum this game...and this year's upcoming PS3 titles will create will be nothing short of Earth-shattering.

I just say be glad you opted to choose a PS3, and instead of wasting your time worrying about those losers, spend it enjoying your awesome system and respective games, because the PS3 will do a damn fine job at strutting it's stuff on its own from here on in.

this game dont need a formal review....and judging by the reviews of late...who cares...if you are a FPS fan this is a must buy... This I was told directly by a personal friend was in the beta.
Those looking for reviews of this game to change their mind..just do yourself a favor and forget about buying it.

What do you mean? COD:WaW and COD4 have the same options on PS3 and 360. Resistance 1 and 2 have LAGless online. LittleBigPlanet has an amazing online setup and delivery also.

If this is the be all end all game that it looks like, (and I agree the game looks amazingly fun) why wouldn't they put something that would extend game play like online multi player? how many times have you played the story mode of COD 4 and 5, resistance 12 or little big planet??? I'm guessing once, maybe twice? this is my point. Sony wants this to be the game of the ages, why not put multi player in there? you waited 5 years for it already whats another few months to get that ready. or for that matter why was it scrapped in the first place?

Killzone 2 has 32 player online multiplayer...but co-op is going to be comming later in a free patch. Why are you posting lies?

I just read the story and it only says co-op is not comming and no collector edition. Who cares?
Other people on the killzone 2 team say co-op will come later...this story keeps changing every day. We will just have to wait and see.

But 32 players online is there. There was a beta test will 32 players online remember that? The online multiplayer in the game is better than anything out there including COD4...which is currently the best.
