Hmmm, if "xbox fanboys" really wanted this game.......could they not just go purchase it along with a ps3...or find some friends who have ps3s and play it on theirs? Sorry to get off topic, but Rhoic it really took you that long to beat COD4????? I played it on hard the 1st playthrough, and It took me around 5hours, then I went back and did it again on veteran around the same amount of time. It was a very short SP campaign (but was very very good), Had tons of replay value and online was great. I never rush through games I like to explore whenever I can and see everything in there, and I can't say COD4 would have ever taken me 10-20 hours no matter what difficulty. Are you sure you don't mean COD:WaW? I have not played that one yet, so I don't know how long that one lasted, but I can't imagine you actually are talking about COD4.

**ONTOPIC** Anyway, Good score, I was planning on waiting a bit before buying this game to see how it turns out, but after hearing how much people enjoyed the beta, and all the game play videos out there, it is official that I will be buying this ASAP (hopefully day1 :D, depends on my current $$$$ situation).

Maybe not a perfect 10 because no split screen or co-op?? but if THAT IS the case there are a few games that got a 10 despite lacking those features...Bioshock (Great game though!)

Reviewers play the games on easy or normal, thus the short length. I distinctly remember reading the same thing about both Uncharted and Halo3. Each of those games took over 10+ hrs 1st playthrough on the hardest difficulty setting. Factor in trophies/achievements and one could be looking at 20-25 hours (SP). I submit the more recent CoDWaW as proof.

EDIT- @below OK, R2 on superhuman might not have been quite 8 hours, but if you beat W@W on veteran in under 8 hours, then you have my respect.

Also, I don't really think Resistance 2 was as hard as the first one. I've beaten both of them on superhuman. To be honest, I was fairly underwhelmed w/ R2 in comparison to RFOM.

People complain because the AI is stupid during the beta, so in the final release when GG increases the aggressiveness and difficulty of the AI, people complain that the game is "too hard".

i love hard and difficult AI, thank god that they improved the AI and its difficult,i was going to be disappointed if it were the same as the beta!
