Fallout 3 Patch to be Released Today for All Platforms

Today an update is available for Fallout 3 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The update is available for the English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions. It will be up today in all territories via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network and the PC patch can be found on the official Fallout 3 Web site.

Some of this was fixed in the first PS3 patch (the one with trophies), but the game is so good, but so broken, further patches are welcome.

I know some people have been having trouble on all platforms, so hopefully this will take care of it for everyone.

Fallout freezes WAY too much for my liking.

it'll be patched to the point it actually works and will be much cheaper. This is why you should all wait to buy a Bethesda game....if you can wait that is.

For me, that was impossible.

But in a cruel twist- I will be waiting for the expansion, oh well.

Got my platinum, have ran through every character I want except the unarmed evil ninja.

1.5 - I was able to wait...
but I have a full time committment to school so maybe that makes it easier. Plus I play R2 competitive mode a lot and LBP isn't slowing down at all. But hey, that's just me. I can understand not being able to wait. I just know that all their games are bug ridden and then I heard how bad the PS3 version was and I said "no thanks, I'll wait."

1.7 - "This is why you should all wait to buy a Bethesda game....if you can wait that is."
And that last bit is the problem. Bethesda's games are always great . . . makes waiting REALLY hard to do. I knew Fallout 3 would be buggy and glitchy as hell when I bought it (ok, I didn't know it'd be THAT buggy), but that didn't stop me . . . the game itself is always worth the hassle.

However, I do think I'll wait a few months after the next one comes out.

Might be a good time to start playing this game! XD
I have it sitting in my shelve since Xmas. PoP and R2 took my time to play it. PoP is finished and PLATINUMed (o.O) So i´ll start FALLOUT!

Very cool. That's a lot of updates and they got rid of some of those cheats ;) No easy xp or speech challenges for you!

Fallout 3 is an amazing game and Bethesda just keeps making it better

Fixed rendering issue with the Gatling Laser gun's tracers (I have seen this on the xbox)

And I hope they fixed the scientific pursuits achievement problem. I didn't see that one.

11 - This is the last game I buy from Bethesda.
Their poor customer service (try spending the money to call them long distance as they don't have a toll free support number, see where that gets ya), their poor programming abilities, their "exclusivity" deals, screw them and their games. If after all these years of making the same types of games, they still can't sort out the same bugs that plague every game they make, then, in my opinion, they obviously stink at programming. Writing a good story, this they can do. Program a decently functional game, this they can not.

Wonder if there are any platform specific fixes, such as bugged achievements for the 360. I never got the achievement for "Scientific Pursuits" even though I beat the mission and the game.

I had killed the Overseer by mistake ( I just wanted to knock him out to steal his key and stuff).
But when I tried to load from a earlier save, the Overseer was still dead! WTH
But it seem to fix itself by the next day.

Oh, and I think EVERYONE experienced the 'G.O.A.T exam classroom freeze-up'.....

18 - fixes check...new problems...check
it fixes some things and adds new issues, like when i enter vats now it pauses for like 4 seconds before letting me select body parts....which needless to say is a pain in the ass when you have to use vats like 100000 times in the game, thats alot of time waiting
