A newspaper is just as good at reviewing as most online sites...

It's not like the people at gamesites is so much more brilliant then anyone else, we are all gamers. And loads of people read the reviews.

The time I visited this site just seems to fit the date and time of the results of my virus checker when it found some unwanted programs and two trojans added onto the system and I haven't really been on anything else but N4G for most these last two days that I can remember.

No one should take that review seriously, cause it's not really a review and makes me ashamed to be Swedish. First of all, they obviously didn't have a clue about the embargo, are they even playing the review build? And he doesn't mention anything about the game, except for the fact that it doesn't have co-op (which somehow is odd?). He says what he thought the game felt like, and that's it.

He doesn't say what was good or what was bad, or even what the game contains. He didn't even mention multiplayer or bots. Personally I don't think anyone should review it until they've thoroughly played the multiplayer.

Gaming reviews overall are ridiculous. Nearly no reviewer plays through all the difficulties or earns everything in a game. Do you think book reviewers only reads half the book and guesses how well the other half will do? No? Well that's pretty much what gaming reviewers do with games.

The review is pretty much just the score. And that's what is intended, as it's from a newspaper. But this is imo the opposite of what a review should be. A review should be as objective as possible and explain what is in the game. What features it has, how many maps there are, if there are any errors etc. Based on that the reviewer should either recommend it or not, where not recommending it should be limited to due it being rendered unplayable because of issues.

There should also be videos and images displaying the gist of the game. But impressions should be left as impressions, as they are never objective and as such does imo not belong in a review.

according to this site... L4D 3/5, Dead Space 3/5, GTA IV 3/5 but Gears 2 4/5, MGS4 4/5, Resistance 2 4/5 and COD WAW 4/5. So its better than GTA IV,Dead Space and L4D and on par with Gears 2, MGS4, Resistance 2 and COD Waw?!... Good enough for me, cant complain about that at all

how embarrassing... so... beat kz2 play a day or 2 of multiplayer then jump onto street fighter v play multiplayer for a couple hours then hop back onto kz2. Sounds like one relaxing plan to me.
