UK Killzone 2 pre-order deal unlikely, says source

An insider source has revealed to videogaming247.com that it is unlikely the UK will be treated to a similar pre-order-the-game-get-the-demo-early deal as our American cousins.

Dude, read the stories more closely. It doesnt suggest the UK will not get pre-orders, simply that UK pre-orders are unlikely ro recieve a demo of the game early (Feb 5th) like those who pre-order in the US.

We get pre-orders, obviously, but we just dont look like getting any special rewards for it.

I'll be disappointed if we don't. But I believe we get the game a few days early (?), and frankly, missing out on the demo will just make the release that little bit more exciting. I've waited 3 years, I'm sure an extra few weeks wont hurt to bad.

As I said in the original story, my wallet stays closed until I get a demo! It is the way that I have done it for the past 3 years and I aint changing a system that works for me.

Im really not bothered about demo or costumes i want the full game and like my brother Fishy said "I believe we get the game a few days early" which suits me fine i dont wanna wait another minute for Killzone 2 its gonna b EPIC

I'm really not fussed about an early demo, yeah it'd be nice and it'd build some personal hype and desire to buy the full game on day 1 (like I'm going to be doing anyway lol).

What I don't like about SCEE, SCEUK or whoever it is that looks after this stuff is how over here we miss out on things like the same amount of pre-order options for LBP or the lack of the collectors edition for R2, just to name a couple of things. I'd like the option of the CE's at the same price as just the regular game as reward for preorder or even a premium, game specific LBP costume instead of early demos (which should be available to the public on PSN ahead of the game to sway those maybe on the fence or convince people into a definite day 1 purchase) or a home costume.
