411mania: Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Review

411mania writes:

"Mortal Kombat's history cannot be denied. Ever since the original was released in arcades Mortal Kombat has been a crucial part of the video game industry. Hell, it's often credited for the formation of the ESRB. Personally, Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy stand out as the best of the franchise. I seriously want to ask the folks at Midway why they keep porting Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to consoles such as XBLA but they constantly forget about the far superior Mortal Kombat Trilogy *a lot more characters, more moves, more fatalities, ect*. Honestly, I highly doubt it would cost Midway a lot of money to make a new version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Hell, take the existing game, clean up the sprites, and add in more characters and my friends and I would gladly pay whatever amount of money Midway would charge for it *and I think we're all aware of Midway's financial state at this point*. But we don't live in a perfect world and so we are left with Mortal Kombat vs. DC. How does the game hold up? Let's find out."
