Killzone 2 demo exclusive to GameStop, public demo after game release

PS3 Fanboy writes: "The only way you'll be able to play Killzone 2 before the game's release will be through GameStop's exclusive pre-order campaign. No other demo for Killzone 2 will be released before the game's street date. Those that don't want to pre-order from GameStop will have to wait until after the game's release, as we've discovered from SCEA. "The demo will be available on the PSN after the game ships but only through GameStop until then.""

it makes me wonder just how much Gamestop have payed to have this demo exclusive to them. Quite a bit I'm guessing.

I'm just a little peeved that Europe has been told nothing about the demo or such, once again we get the SCEE treatment.

Public release without the need for preorder is after full retail release.

I preordered from Gamestop last year and went by two days ago and picked up my pre-order card with the scratch-off code. Why wait for a game like this when you can get the demo, not a beta but the demo, over 3 weeks early.

The only thing that will change my pre-order is if they finally announce a Collectors or Limited Edition (fingers crossed).

I guess that means n UK demo either = I aint buying until I play a demo! The game looks good but I have spent too much money and time on FPS games which have looked amazing but turned out to be really awful.

I can't help it but I have developed a kind of resistance to gaming hype until I see a demo and decide from my own experience, without a demo I can't help but think the worst.

Game have done a few 'exclusive demo when you pre-order' things with one or two titles, so it could be the same again with this here in the UK.

Otherwise, just rent it from your local Blockbuster if you're unsure, but, given i'm not a huge FPS fan, and having spent time with the Beta, i can say its a very enjoyable game, and graphically out of this world

I don't know, as much as I'd like to think that COD 6 will be better not sure if it will be,

my most look forward to feature around KZ2's online is the way that it changes match type in game straight after a team as won and I don't think that would be too easy for most devs to top.

Maybe they'll copy it but I doubt they'll recapture that gritty feel, heavy feel and animations of KZ2.
