No, it's the review code. It's the one before final code.

Often, it'll still have some bugs but they'll use any feedback to fix in the final version.

That's what im saying, is it normal for the review codes to be out this early. I would of thought they would want to fix a few more things or are they still going to.

The pictures look amazing! who's the guy in the 5th pic on the left page on top?

Magazines usually get review code first since they publish on a monthly schedule, unlike online sites which can publish whenever they want. This review code is often near final, which means that it may contain bugs, such was the case with Lost Odyssey (it had long loading times in the review builds; the loading was still long in the final build, but it wasn't as long).

This is it, the black box that all critics have been waiting for to thrash and trash. Let's see who has the guts first to rip this game apart.

I wonder what the embargo date is? Either way, nice Christmas gift for the media. Here's my predictions:

I agree with you. These reviewers are going to look every inch in the game to look for flaws. I wont even be surprised if they give Killzone 2 graphics score less than a 10 knowing how they are. I could already picture all these sites losing their credibility due to this game.

Now the real question is if the campaign is up to the same par of the rest of the game.

They have said in many interviews that the last couple of months and till the release date they will be working on the multiplayer, making sure it is balanced, working properly etc.

i cant wait. though, this game will get nothing but B scores from mostly everyone except ign, and Xplay... the media is gonna give this game an 8 becuase this game is gonna be soo critical. ^^ just wait. Ign will have the first review and it'll be very high, and then the media bias will attack. "KILLZONE 2 Looks brilliant, does some things right but is still another Generic shotter that does little to set itself apart from the rest of the Shooters"... like Cod4, Halo, Gears.. just wait for it. the 360 fanbase will certainly love this, this game will be victimized to no end by bias and fanboy bashing, and reviewers who put there fanboi bias over professionalism. 1up, Edge, and Gametrailers, Gamedaily, Variety, Gamespot, and maybe Eurogamer. Just wait for it.

Screw the reviews, I need no convincing. My buddies and I are chomping at the bit for this game and every other FPS (shooter) is just acting as a filler right now.

Did you play the beta, that alone would get £40 from me. Screw the reviews, sales, comments from the haters, this is an FPS players dream. As long as I can get a game online in a full server. Nothing else really matters.

Private clan chat etc also helps patchs those little niggles I have with the PSN (no private chat). too. I'm sold, and I'm sure the graphics alone will have them queuing up.

Those pics look like they may be something close to the Collectors Edition version of the game. If Guerrilla sent out Killzone 2 like this to reviewers with the nice packaging, then I'm pretty sure that a Collectors Edition will be announced and if it is, that's the version I'm picking up without a doubt.

Please sony dont screw this up with marketing!! I want sony to market this game like there is no tommorow! Im talking HUGE, i want to see Helghast mountain dew and ISA Doritos! I want to see Helghast shaped pizzas at pizza hut, I want to see tons and tons of commercials on every channell! Heck I even want commercials on food tv and Lifetime for this game! MARKET MARKET MAREKT.. ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE! I want to see a countdown to midnight launch shows like they did with Halo 3. a 2 hour special, the 1st hour going into the story line of the first Killzone and the 2nd hour being the countdown to midnight launch

I hope sony pays for media attention for this one game like MS does, if they do all that.. I gurantee Killzone 2 will sell 2 million or more in its first week! This game WILL BE HUGE AND I CANT WAIT
