people like me are paid to make sure gamers do not see things for what they are. there is no price cut in Europe for the ps3, a) because Europe doesn't exist, and b) because there will never be a price cut for the ps3, anywhere, ever.

i hope this clears up any confusion among gamers. the only console available to you gamers is the Xbox 360, with it's highest rated games in 2005 to its superb hardware quality and reliability. there is only one choice for gamers this holiday season, and that is to believe everything i say.

First of all you can't spell.

Second you have no sweet clue how much money Sony is loosing on each ps3 or even if they are loosing any at all.

For all you know Sony might have been preparing for this price drop for the last 5 months. They might have cut manufacturing costs drastically. everything you say and everything you hear on a topic like this is just speculation so don't tell other people to think before they post because you aren't thinking at all

a price drop for the ps3 will not spur any sales growth. the only console that will ever benefit from a price drop is the Xbox 360, because American consumers only buy American made parts in America.

our USA sales alone will outsell the Wii + ps3 combined this generation.

Sony stated that "then next-gen starts when they say it does". Well, we at Microsoft have adopted a strategy that "the current gen ends when we say it does" and that is right now. Just now this gen ended, and we beat the ps3.

The ps3 may go on to sell more consoles than us, but that will be in a different generation....that we don't acknowledge....Because I said so.

The XB360 is about to be recalled due to the disk scratching and RRoD issues. MS decided to cut the 10% staff not across the board, but just in the XB devision.

Absolutely. we have Sony "by the balls" right now, and it has nothing to do with our console launching a full year before the ps3, in some places a year and a half. Nor does it have anything to do with our console being the cheapest on the market first.

No, our sales growth is based purely on the highest quality and reliability, period. Our sales numbers absolutely do not reflect re-purchased or refurbished consoles or game discs.

I am here to tell you that we, Microsoft, are in the strongest position this gen; it's Sony who are the ones living in a pipe dream.
