Lumines Supernova Hits PS3 Next Tuesday, Dec. 23

Sony has announced that Lumines Supernova, the latest version of Q Entertainment's visually eclectic puzzle game for the PlayStation 3, will be released over the PlayStation Network next Tuesday, December 23. It'll be priced at $14.99.

Did they not learn anything with the Xbox 360 version? They should of priced this at $10. I paid $15 for Lumines Live on Xbox 360 but it was a rip-off even though it had online play. They basically took the PSP version of Lumines 2, ripped apart like 75% of the features and sold those features as overpriced DLC. If I were you guys, I'd wait to see what comes in this game by reading a review, because if it's something like I just described and no online play, that would be a a foul ass move by Q Entertainment.

Quite expensive but then again... I also paid more than 30 euro's for the PSP version when that came out.

6 - I heard that the PS3 version doesn't have online play
What kind of crap is that? I was really excited for this at first but then once I heard that, my excitement kind of moved down a few notches. It's still a great game, but online VS play is what really makes it last.

edit:

Did some google research and found out that there is indeed a lack of online play in this title. I'm not so sure I will be buying this now. Hell, even the damn Xbox LIVE version has online VS. play!

my wife is so addicted to this game on PSP. She has over 400K high score while mine was 129K high. She is gonna make me get this on PS3 as soon as she finds out.

8 - Its available in the Hong Kong PSN
I bought and downloaded it a few days ago.

Its multilanguage and costs about 14$. There is no online multiplayer but IMO its still the best PSN game out there! And i think its definitely the best puzzle game ever!

It plays (and looks) great!

There is no demo unfortunately.

is a black mark against psn. I bought that spacehip side scroller with the german name.....am i pissed. Can i sell it on...... Ive been stung. We have to pressure sony to make sure there are demos for ALL downloadable games with exception to the ps1/2 games

it wasnt all bad, and i know its not very 'gamerlike' of me but it is super hard. I like the chain combo switchy thing. I love side scrollers so i jumped in. I may try it again as i have gradually become a trophy whore. Crash commando was my surprise gem of the holiday period. That IS the sh*t. a demo will definitely help its sales.

Ah, excellent. Was waiting for a good puzzle to arrive, and here it is. Not that the earlier ones are bad, but Lumines is something I was especially waiting for.
