God of War III the epic conclusion to the franchise

Well, according to Sony its the last title in the series...however i highly doubt it. Maybe on the PS3 it is. But if God of War III sells millions of copies (which Im sure it will), I bet they will bring more side stories to the PSP.

As for sequels though...I have a strange feeling Kratos dies in God of War III...if this is supposed to be the end.

Its not gonna be the last one.Sony can not let one of the best games just end like that after only 1next gen god of war.Remember that is what they said about mgs4 and alerday we have rumors that kojima is bringing out mgs5.Big games do not die like that....

God of War III will not be the last installment to the franchise. As long as it makes money, they will make new ones. This is just Sony wanting to add more hype to the product.

I'm going to get it anyway (hehe), but they need to say such things to add to the hype.

Hey did you guys notice, we got the name of the new director. Stig Asmussen or something, anyone heard of him before? I remember watching a lot of those making of/behind the scenes of God Of War but don't really recall seeing his name. Better watch them again and hopefully I'll see if he has played a significant part in the earlier games.

Man, this reminds me of how I felt when I was told that the Story of Snake ends in MGS4 by Kojima. I will be playing the game feeling happy and Sad at the same time. With all the back story maybe they will release a prequel to God of War after this.

I love GOW 2. I think the code works with PS2 if you have component cables but I am not sure.

Why must you assume that the quality will drop? This is Sony. Not Nintendo. Not Microsoft.

Look at interviews from Yoshida, for instance. He loves hardcore games, and he wants to please hardcore gamers. Would we have Team ICO if that weren't the case (look at their sales record. It stinks, relatively). God of War can continue past 3 and still be a fan-f#cking-tastic game.

I agree as much as im a huge GO fan..I really hope they tie up all loose ends in GOW3 and lets this amazing trilogy ends ...they can have spin-off games on the PSP but the core story needs to rap up with this game..I dont wont another cliff-hanger ending..XD

and lets the Santa Monica team move on and make another ass-kicking new IP
