This game's gonna be immense. Just look at how much effort they're putting into the design of the characters and it's obvious they're very hard at work. They've always been quiet about new games and this is no different, but obviously the hardest one they've ever had to make. Any1 who thinks Level 5 and WKC is gonna beat this is so delluded. I watched a trailer yesterday for WKC and the combat looked absolutely awful, as did everything else.

No I don't have a PS3, nor do I hate them. I'll probably be getting one soonish with the 2009 line-up looking pretty strong. I don't hate WKC, it just looks lame compared to this. The developers are in competition with each other you fool. All I care about is FF13 doing well so they can make future ones. When did I say I was an RPG fan? Never heard of Dark Cloud or Rogue Galaxy, can't have been very popular. Professor Layton is the only game I knew they did apart from Dragon Quest and it looks decent. But have they made any special games?

No, just compared to other Final Fantasy's they're taking longer to make them, so that'll probably make it better u numpty. Generally the longer they spend the better it is, that's common sense but I've just had to explain that to you cos that's what you missed the first time around. 1.5 seconds of gameplay? More like 15, and I mean the battle (cos that's all that's been shown) looks head and shoulders above WKC.

I'm looking forward to ff13, but to be honest.. I'm not very excited about it with S-E's current performance, or lack there of.

Now, if they announced a ps3 exclusive Suikoden, done right... I'd be all over that. Skeet Skeet Skeet!

was the last great square game (and they were SQUARESOFT then too).
other then that,ff11 never got any praise and wasnt worth it for the money... ff12 story wasnt that great even wen i tried HARD to get into it and tried forcing myself to love the story and gameplay,but however never finished it so i didnt care for it.
FF13 looks meh so far just from the scans and the constant trailer allways bieng shown--i will have nothing but doubts and skeptisizm untill i see acuall gameplay footage.
on the other hand WNC is going to be on my number 1 list of awsomness for the fact they have ben making kickass titles IMO since early ps2 days--my #1 level 5 game is dark cloud 1 (never got around to 2)-
every true rpg player thats played the earlier rpg's back in the day will understand that its not about the graphics but all about the story and gameplay,thats wut made RPG's so greast back then was even though they had garbage visuals,the story's and gameplays were AMAZING.. graphics just add a nice touch and feel to the experience witch is GREAT (dont get me wrong) but you should view an RPG as its core aspects not the mainstream ones.
THAT my friends is why WNC intrests me ALOT is for the fact that even though it may not have better visuals then FF13 it stays true to the emotional aspect of the story,characters,scenery,and dialogue with (from wut ive seen) awsome voice overs.

oh and for the article scans on FF13 ,they need to stop that crap,weve seen the main chick and a few others as well,seen every freakin pic of the game and thats not wut we want,we as gamers demand to see gameplay to make our judgment a little easier.

I think it's funny how a lot of the hype died out for this game. I guess with Square-Enix's recent failures this gen people are no longer looking forward to another mediocre title from them. They may have hope for FFvsXIII but FF13 will join the mediocre titles like FFX-2, FF11, & FF12.

Though I think most people don't even care anymore because WKC just completely owns Final Fantasy in every way. Level 5 has become the new king of RPGs and from the games they made in the past I think they deserve it (Atlus is another good company though).

Since the hype has died down on FF13 and nobody really cares about it anymore i'll be sure to import the superior version on PS3 and tell the xbots all about it on various places. I mean i'm sure they would at least like to hear the ending.
