I played it, and its not even that good. They are making too big a deal about this and since they wanna be jerks about it, I think you people should not even buy the game. The resident evil series started to suck after part 2 anyways.

I played it too , RE5 is RE4 but with nice graphics ...

they just Copy-Paste the gameplay , the animations , almost everything :P

4.1 - You can still play the Demo
You can still play the demo aslong as ur not connected to live ...so yea no more online co-op for ppl outside of japan, but still fun, this applies to ppl with the game on disc like my self.

The game's amazing...

It's like Resident Evil 4 with better graphics, a more in-depth storyline, and a few tweaks to improve gameplay. What's wrong with that?

The only reason the PC version got bad reviews was because the videos were poorly emulated (fixed and improved via MODS) and you couldn't aim with the mouse (fixed and improved via joypad, 360 controller, or PS3 controller). It's the best version, actually. You just have to know how to edit.

Resident Evil 4 was one of the best games last generation...winning GOTY two years in a row! The only other game to do that was Viewtiful Joe...which was also Capcom. (Clover)

uhh, i'm currently playing the demo right now again...

Unless the way i'm getting to the game is a workaround to the region lock

EDIT:

If you launch the game without being logged into XBOX Live, you'll be able to play the demo (signing into XBOX Live from within the RE5 Demo won't boot you out)

EDIT 2:

Nope, i'm wrong... now the demo won't even show up on the list LMAO bastards.. oh well

Now this really pisses me off! When I first heard the demo was released, I created a japanese account, just so I could download it. I was able to download the demo, but it doesn't work... WTF Capcom you greedy bastards, it's just a demo. I wouldn't mind playing it in japanese, as I understand the language to some degree. But to region lock a demo just seems a little weak and... well... g@y... Now we have to wait until Jan 5th:( This game better blow my brains out of my fu**ing skull, or else there's no way I'm buying this.

Why are you guys complaining about the controls?

I don't understand...

Resident Evil 4 was amazing! Why wouldn't we want another Resident Evil 4??? That's like saying we don't want a better looking Shadow of the Colossus.

Get over yourselves and remember why Resident Evil 4 was such a freakin' awesome game! If they change the controls, it's not going to make it better. It just won't be as scary...

Also, they region locked it to get an accurate count on how many people download the 360 demo and how many download the PS3 demo...to better understand their audience. How intelligent are you people?

Resident Evil had it's pluses, I've seen and watched video's for RE5. So far I've not been confinced that its nothing more than a next gen remake of RE4

I might be wrong but i've seen nothing so far that we have not already seen.

I downloaded the demo and burned it to a CD and tried it out. It's not all that good to be honest. Graphics are great but the demo was kinda disappointing.

just some things are totally unrealistic. Yes I know the whole game is unrealistic but I mean, how many times can you get pounded by a dude with a huge battle axe (?) and still get up and fight off the baddies.

I like the look and just wish they opted for more control of your character when in aiming mode.
