haha. People are like Sh*t, they Can make improvements even in Beta. LOL. that's What Betas are for.

Sadly some people like OMEGA who pretend to care, come here and Bash the game.

Im in the beta and the only thing i ask is that they remove motion control for sniper.Other than that i love it,and YTF are people complaing bout a preview.This is not the final game also i dont know whats the beef.I noticed the voice acting problem but the first thing that came to my mind was that its a demo and not the final game so i just ignored it.When the game is finished and it still has this problems(which im sure it wont)Then u can complain,but for know all u need to do is just STFU and enjoy the new videos which is AMAZING.

Quick reply to the criticism, and rather strange for a dev to be so prompt. They're obviously very protective over their baby and rightly so.

Still, good to know a few complaints have already been address and resolved, and moaning about a hair cut? Come on, you know the game is great when a major complaint is the characters hair style.

Bane of the internet, give some a few videos from an uncomplete build and they can tell you everything you could ever want to know about a game.

Just by videos alone.. GRAPHICS, GAMEPLAY, STORY, and MULTIPLAYER all look better than GTA4.. By a HUGE MARGIN.. If this game doesnt score higher than COD4 or GTA4 Ill be surprised.. Im not a huge fan of FPS.. Ima Socom addict (yes even with its server issuses).. But Every time I see Single player vids or Beta multiplayer vids.. I cant help but think.. I might put Socom away for awhile, maybe a long while. Once this comes out..

DESTROYED by the reviewers.

it's funny, reviewers and gamers alike pine endlessly about wanting something DIFFERENT in gaming. they're sick of the same old sh*t. then, when they get it, they complain.

here's a wonderful example:

many reviewers have stated that the FPS genre has gotten tired and stagnant over the years (it has). they want something new.

but then, when a game comes along that at least TRIES to be different, for example Resistance 2 with it's unique weapons (which DOES make the game feel different; how many other FPS titles have you played where the Magnum has an alternate fire of explosive rounds? or a weapon that shoots out buzz saw blades that ricochet off walls, decimating the enemy. or even 300 foot tall bosses?), or Killzone 2 with it's unique feeling controls (your characters and weapons feel realistically "heavy," and it changes the feel of the gameplay, because you have to think more carefully about your movements; it's not a twitch, "floaty" shooter, where you can do a 180 in half a second to get someone attacking from behind), they b*tch and complain that it's not like a game we've ALREADY played before (ie, Call of Duty 4).

so which is it, gaming media? do you want something new (ie, Killzone 2 doesn't feel like any shooter on the market), or do you want the same thing we've had before (ie, "Killzone 2 doesn't control like Call of Duty 4, wah wah wah!")?

also, why is it that games like Call of Duty 4, great game, by the way, gets a free pass for having weapons that are, for lack of a better term, "generic" (i simply mean real world, "normal" weapons), but Killzone 2 is ALREADY being dinged for having "real" looking and feeling weapons as well?

double standards and lack of consistency are what is killing the gaming industry.

while i don't think it will happen, Killzone 2 could BOMB commercially, and it could be entirely because of the media nitpicking it into 6/10 scores over things like "no identity," "you have to fight waves of enemies," "the weapons are too normal and real," "the Helghast don't have any personality," (they're like the Nazis of the future, what more motivation do you need to destroy them?) and any other number of nitpicks that get overlooked for other titles (like Halo and Call of Duty to name only two).

i don't care about reviews, but a lot of gamers do. a lot of casual gamers, who may have had a passing interest in the game will take those review scores for what they are, and most don't even bother to read the body of the review at all, and just look at the score.

here's another example for you, about why i think scoring shouldn't be a part of the review process:

say you're looking at a review for this movie you are interested in. you glance at the score, and the reviewer gave it a 2 out of 5 stars. you think, "oh, that movie isn't very good then, i'll pass on it."

now say that you're reading the body of the review, and the guy says, "i hate the actor who played the main character. i hate the genre the film is in. i hate that the story isn't complex enough. 2/5."

now, what if that actor was your favorite actor? what if the genre of the movie is your favorite genre? what if, for that genre, you don't CARE if the story isn't complex? chances are, you'd rate that movie a bit higher, and go see it. but if you just took that arbitrary score for what it was, without reading the body of the review, you'd miss out.

i urge ALL gamers to read the body of the review, and learn to be more discerning of what are legitimate complaints (ie, "the controls are bad," "the camera is problematic,"), and what are nitpicks (ie, "i don't like the main character's hair," "too much variety," "the game is too short, but i'm having fun with it, but it's too short and the reason why i beat it so fast in the first place is because i'm a reviewer who has a bunch of other games to review before deadline,").

Well, as some have already pointed out most reviewers have had this preview code in their hands for quite some time and I am sure that Guerrilla have had plenty of time to already fix many issues and will no doubt be able to fix even more in the next two months. Even if they shipped it now, though, it would still be an amazing game.

There is no motion control on the sniper on kz2 beta, just if you move your controller the more your sniper will shake - meaning you have to keep your hand steady like a real sniper would :P

Its so hilarious to see PP and his boyfriend troll on KZ2 threads. Just comes to show that they are really interested in the game considering it makes them click on the thread. But dont you guys feel sorry for yourselves for not getting a PS3? All you guys will be getting is GTA4 DLC in February. Thats kind of sad.
