Home Community Manager TedTheDog has just revealed on the official SCEE forums that stores in the Playstation Home MALL will open tomorrow, straight after a maintenance scheduled for 7am GMT.

I wasn't impressed with Home beyond the graphics...I mean, do I seriously have to pay for virtual clothes, furniture, etc. for a virtual character? That's retarded. I can't even make an accurate likeness because they don't have beards as a facial hair choice.

damn level 10!! i think i'm at level 4. Just started Far Cry 2 so expecting more trophies soon. I would have had a lot more trophies if Socom would have come with them to begin with. Still waiting for patch 1.30

Serious question(s) - hopefully someone knows the answers.

How is Home structured as far as servers / regions are concerned?
Is there a limit to the number of people that can enter a server?
What happens if I'm on a server that is full and I invite a friend over?

I'm not sure but the other day I was in home with a buddy and we both walked into the bowling alley and we ended up in two different bowling alleys. I selected go to friend from the menu and it brought me to him.

Home structure is basically by regions like US will have their server UK etc.

Im pretty sure there is a limit on how many people can enter a server so that it wont stress it out and cause a crash, as for friends you will end up in different servers depending on if they are full or not, usually you can invite them over or the other way around if they cant get into yours for some reason.

I read somewhere thats its 65 per room server. But there are multiple servers. Same thing happened to me and my friend going into the bowling alley. We went to 2 different ones. Had to join his game.

Guys Home is AMAZING.. Lets just say I also have Xbox live and have been hooked on Xbox live for the last 2 years, I got Home 2 weeks ago and i havent even turned on my 360 since. Oh dont get me wrong I also play a crap load of games on my PS3 also.. Socom, COD4, LBP,Resistance 2, Motorstorm ETC. But man Home is just amazing.

My only complaint with Home that its just so addictive that it actually distracts me from playing my actual games sometimes.. Like Ill go into home and say to myself "only for a few mins just to see whats going on" well I then get 3 friend invites people wanting to play pool, bowling or etc and i end up spending a couple hours in it.

But yea, dont listen to the haters on here that say "Home is boring and home is pointless" because its NOT! Ive been hooked on Pool ever since I got it and its fun to game launch together. Infact when Killzone 2 hits thats also the same month my xbox live membership expires, I dont even think i will renew it.. Ill have Home and Killzone 2 and ill be set

I know exactly what you mean. i hate myself sometimes for doing that. I can spend hours upon hours just bowling or playing pool.

I think one reason that led to this is recent update to v1 whereby they took away the ability to launch all games except Warhawk from Home.

I think they are going to add game launching again for all online games, but yea.. Home is just so addictive i have to discipline myself not to spend a lot of time in there so i can actually get around playing real PS3 games. Its just fun walking up to a group of pepole and joining their convo.. Ive added so many friends on my friends list just from Home, sony needs to update the friend list capacity because people's friends list will get full fast because of home

Yep, all of them are exactly the same unless someone changes something about it. Like the wallpaper, move stuff around, or buy things from the Home mall. That will change soon, just not right now as there are other Homes you can buy later when they release it for money/trophies. Whatever the payment will become.
