Destroy All Humans PS3 coming to Europe

THQ has clarified the situation with Destroy All Humans! Path of Furon - saying the PS3 version will be released in Europe after all.

Yesterday it was reported that the game will only be available for Xbox 360 in the US. Now a THQ UK representative has stated both versions are still on track for a European release.

"Destroy all Humans: Path of the Furon will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 formats on February 13th 2009 across Europe," he stated.

"Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on 2nd December a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market."

Yay. Hopefully Sixaxis features!

If the game turns out to be good as the previous games, it'll be a shame that the developers been shutdown.

I know THQ; I have an idea.
Give the next game in the franchise to Planet Moon; They'll know what to do or sell the franchise to EA, that way Pandemic can continue making them.

Ahh, didnt notice the duplicate before I approved it to the frontpage.

Still uninterested in this title, never was a big fan of the Destroy all Human series, but I'm sure this might make some people happy.

It's definatly gonna be region free for the ps3, & I think they thought American PS3 owners that would have wanted this game would get it through online retailers like Amazon UK.

Seems like a clear cut case THQ exploiting what the market loves. The 360 has a major lead over the PS3 in America, so they just cut their losses.
Europe on the other hand, the situation is slightly in Ps3's favour and not giving them a game would cut their profit in half.

cut there loses..? they didn't realise this until , 2 weeks before the game was suppose to be released..? pllz...

so why wasn't this game made PS3 exclusive in EU since PS3 games tend to sell better than 360 games in EU...?

THQ was obviously Bribed into making this a NA exclusive....there's no other way around it....

9 - This Bothers Me somewhat
I know they are doing this because of the Money but I mean let's see it's going to come out in the U.K. where it will be localized into English & this isn't the type of game where the content was going to be any different then any of the other regions.

So they think that since the 360 has a bigger install base than the PS3 that it should be exclusive to the 360. Well why don't they just ship the amount they think will sell in the U.S. on the PS3 and if the shops need more then they can order more from THQ.

I mean I really don't care about this game and wouldn't be one who buys it I just think that a decesion to exclude regions of getting games is just bad buisness. They will lose money if they ship to many but if they ship just the right amount they will make money.
