Resident Evil 5 demo confirmed coming to PSN

PS3Center writes:

Capcom, however, has confirmed that the demo will be appearing on both the PSN and XBox Live Marketplace, and in all major regions as well. The demo, however, will not be launching simultaneously worldwide, and as of right now, there is no word on the western release date.

I have to agree with you, this game is getting some bad publicity....I hate when people take the smallest things and accuse it of being racist. I think some groups accused that capcom made this game with racial intentions, and that is just ridiculous, it's just like the whole mass effect ordeal, when people have absolutely NO IDEA what it is that they're criticizing

I been gaming since the SNES, and don't like RE. I hate the controls, and I am not going to force myself to play a game because everyone else is. Hell I am not even going to download the demo because I am not even interested in this game. So next time you want to call someone out because they don't like the series or never played it before, you should think twice. Not everyone like RE, and not every cares for it.

But hay, great for the people that care, and I hope the enjoy the demo, and possible the full game.

Resident Evil 4 is a completely different beast though. Have you tried it?

I mean, I like L4D, but...we had the Zombie Panic mod on Half-life years ago. Why waste 50 bucks on it?

I can't wait for this game. Yes, Resident Evil is an amazing franchise and I can't believe the people who are acting like they have never played it.

I don't know about some of you, but to my eyes Resident Evil 5 is one of the very best looking games coming out for consoles. I think in many ways it looks better than Gears 2, MGS4, and yes...even Killzone 2. It looks different than any of those games and it is hard to compare graphics when each game approaches graphics in a very different way, but I think RE5 (and Rage) is looking better than pretty much anything else out there.

I'll check out the demo before getting it. Resident Evil 4 was too much of a transformation for the series to me. It seemed like a game with the RE name slapped onto it. I really wish RE would return to it's roots.....

I think RE4 was the best resident evil , it was innovative and fun, and you can see how good the game was just by seeing all the games that were inspired by it. ( gears, dead space... )
Shinji Mikami only directed Resident Evil 1 ( original and remake )and 4 wich , for me , are the best of the series by far. RE4 was the evolution of the saga.
Now...RE5 im waiting to have an opinion because SM is not involved in the project and that is scary...

I haven't missed a RE game since they came out. But it looks like its not survival horror anymore its more action, Gearish, from what I hear. There lies why idk if I want it. RE has always been survival horror. Dead Space did a lot to bring back survival horror.

I'll wait and see how it turns out.

So basically it will come to the Japanese Store for XBL & PSN on the same day yet a lot of people on XBL will have to wait about a week (unless they have a trial card for a Japanese account). Then all PSN users can make a Japanese account and get the demo on the first day.

Don't worry, i'm sure somebody will make a video of the superior PS3 version's demo to show the xbots what they have to wait a week for.

Its graphics look better than pretty much any other upcoming console game and I know that the gameplay will be good...well, at least I am confidant that the gameplay will be great, given how good RE4 was.
