Guitar Hero Robot Plays Videogame With Electronic Precision

Guitar Hero kicking your butt after one too many beers? Maybe it's time to automate your gameplay - with a robot guitar god, the Cythbot.

The Cythbot combines a camera with a vision processing system and pneumatic fingers to create a robot that can play the popular Guitar Hero videogame by itself.

1 - 2 things
How would that be fun, wouldn't that be defeating the purpose of videogames?
AND
If this person could afford all that Crap, cant he afford a PS3 or Xbox?

3 - Actually this is awesome
Maybe he, like me,gets enjoyment out of programming. I code for Counter-Strike: Source and actually spend more time coding than playing it... Call me a geek I don't care - but maybe this guy actually liked the challenge of progrmaming and building a robot... I think the achievement is amazing. Hey - if nobody was interested in these sort of things - you probably wouldn't be sat talking to on N4G over the internet right now...

I just wish people who had the skill to do something like this would use it for a better purpose. Maybe like trying to cure a disease or some form of new techology to help the world. Something other than building a robot that can play a f***ing video game!

It's all nice they can do this, but really it's just potential and ability gone to waste.
