Rumor: Killzone 2 Given a February 20th Date

GOONL!NE: "Keep your eyes peeled on Februrary 20th for now

Thats what one retailer said when referred to about the Killzone 2 release date.

GOONL!NE can reveal that Sony has given the game a possible February 20th date for the game according to 3 big retailers Gamestop, Game and HMV."

But won't it arrive on the 17th? At least that was the _other_ rumour that was floating around - it was said on "On the spot" that it was releasing on the 17th...

Oh well with all this waiting I shouldn't be concerned about 3 days ;)

US: Tuesday February 17th
EU: Friday February 20th

All games come out on a Friday in the EU, GOONL!NE is a European based blog so hence the February 20th date.

For all we know, the 17th is the American date.

17th is a Tuesday, which makes sense for a US release, while 20th is a Friday, which makes sense for an EU release.

For Sony or GG to release a public statement on a release date. These company release date isn't very accurate, and is pretty much useless. We all know that Killzone 2 will be coming out in February, but don't have the pacific date as yet.

No, that is the American date.

The 20th is the EU date.

Gamestop does exist out of America, ya know, particularly in Ireland.
