David Jaffe's new game coming 2010

On Jaffe's blog, he recently mentioned that he was going to Sony to talk about "the new game". While he wouldn't talk specifically about when gamers could expect to see it, he did mention 2010 as a guesstimate.

He is talking about game on which heis alredy working and is planned to be released in 2010. That game is Twisted metal for PS3, something he hinted who knows how many times. So article mislead us in believing that is something "new", a other "new game". Bunch of BS. I hate when people do this.

Ok, this is coming from one of the biggest GoW fans out there. Dave Jaffe used to be cool. He made an awesome game in GoW and then spiralled down from there. He's a victim (saying that he sucks at story-driven games), annoying (his political comments can be considered funny [Sarah Palin is the perfect MILF comment] but usually tasteless and he just won't shut up. He's like the Gears 2 team leader (how do you spell his name?). He thinks just by making an awesome game he can stop there and start absorbing all the credit he thinks he has earned.

I'll tell you what David, you think you suck at story-driven games? Well you do. Cory Barlog totally topped your performance in GoW II. What do you think about that?

GOW story was finished before GOW2 was even released David said he always planned on making GOW a trilogy..ne ways give the guy some credit ppl...he made one of the greatest action games ever....and the story was amazing...

a new TM would be f-ing awesome...haha Online Galore right there..!!

6 - Wait a minute...
First of all, a "new game" could be just another reentry in an older series. Since God of War 3 has already been announced, the only other option would be Twisted Metal. This would be awesome because there hasn't been a good car fighting game in a long, long, long time. I believe the last one was Twisted Metal Black.(hey, look at that!) If it is, this game would sell like crazy. I am crapping my pants just thinking of how awesome a Next-Gen Twisted Metal would be. But it could be an entirely new game. Which would also be awesome because whatever David creates is nothing short of it. I love that guy.

He is just estimating a 2010 date. If Sony really likes his idea they could throw a ton of money his way and he'll be able to produce it faster. So 2009 is not out of the question. I love playstation! I'm not an xbox hater, I've just been a loyal fan of theirs since the first console.

DJ will be a free agent once his 3 game PS3 exclusive contract is met(2 more games to come). Meaning he's free too make games for any console. He's not tied too Sony.

'Twisted metal' is probably the game in question

Jauffe needs to just shut his mouth and make video games already. He runs his mouth even worse then Cliffy B does. David acts like everyone actually cares what hes got to say and its hillarious. I am not sure on the specifics, but I imagine that when he created his new studio he lost the rights to GoW, and that is why he no longer makes it. I know nothing on the subject though, I am just taking a stab at it.

he came up with the concept/story...ne ways he was just the lead producer..

Eat Sleep Play(the studio Jaffe founded after leaving Sony) has indicated that they were interesting in working with Sony on GOW3. Nonetheless, this game will not be GOW3 as Sony does own the IP and he says its a 'new' game.

At least if it's not until 2010 you know it's going to be a huge game.Another calling all cars isn't going to take that long to make.Thanks Jaffe for the future blockbuster.Can't wait to play twisted metal and hopefully you will be able to use custom soundtracks.It's gonna be epic, smash cars while listening to hallowed be thy name or painkiller.

its a new game, new concept not another sequel...if its twisted metal then what was he doing from 2005 to now on PS3 making calling all cars? ofcourse he has much more ideas.........i hope its a shooter with GOW in it because in 2005 he said that he was discussing with her friend to make an epic scale shooter at the level of GOW.
now that would be amazing treat.

I get the impression this will be his 2nd title.. i mean, he's working on psn titles and you're telling me that since the formation of their group, he has only decided to pitch an idea now?

I'm sure the new game is a new game unrelated to his upcoming project.

Though i could be wrong and i hope im not ,cause 2010 for Jaffe's next title is too long a wait :(
