LittleBigPlanet 1.04 patch live

Media Molecule has just released a new 11MB patch for LittleBigPlanet, updating the game to v.1.04.

Details:

- Using Undo in Creator mode requires a network call
- Gluing can be un-glued from the ground

1.1 - They also forgot!
- Fixed Camera in createmode now works even though you are not in playmode. This makes it alot easier to see how the camera angle is without having to play thru your whole level.

maybe those 2 million are playing the game rather than trolling? Don't spew your hate just because the game is a hit with the critics. It's on a 400 dollar console with the smallest installed base of the three. No excuses. I hope it drives units. Let's see what happens after the holiday season.

Nothing was wrong with the undo feature in create mode anyway?? What does it mean by 'network call' sounds like it'll be more hassle for no reason. And glued objects can be un glued from the floor anyway!??! So i don't get it!

i do not get it either. I do have problem with the unglue feature. It i had to many things attched on on thing and unglued that it would do the whole thing and my level would fall apart. I hope we dont need to sign in for that undo feature caus i dont have online through my PS3

It requires one at the moment so I assume they mean it no longer needs one. (A call to the server, that is.)

It meant that when the servers were moving slowly, undoing things took aaaages.

I think they have not written the details very clearly.

yeah I think that is a typo...it no longer requires one now...I always noticed that if I was connected online, undo took for EVER sometimes...yet if I was not connected to the PSN for whatever reason, but was in create...it was just like a real rewind option...

haven't tried the update yet...but it required network stuff before...so I am only assuming it means they are no longer doing that...

cause i dont have online but i'll update it.
I really hope it fix an issue i founf last night where if your shape was to big and you start cutting away at it would slow down really badly.

I had this happen a couple of times, usually when the servers were busy for some reason. Sometimes when I would rewind it would hang/pause for a couple seconds at the same time you would see the network globe rotating. Other people on the forums said the same.

edit: wrong reply. I was taking about the rewind/undo feature pausing.

are this fixes or adds? because i had the problem in the creator mode, that sometimes it took almost 30 seconds to do an undo move, and that was only because the game took some data from the net, therefor i unplug my PS3 from the network, when i wanna create some levels...

These issues were allways like this, this link is a link to a random user posting on the LBP forums. The two issues he mentions having now with the new update are not new.

why don't they add a feature to save my pod. i hate it when my friends come over and start to stick stickers everywhere. damn, such a pain to get them all off. i really hate redesigning my pod. lol
