Sony Places Final Fantasy XIII Banners in Tokyo

Sony has started its latest advertising campaign over in Japan. Featuring at the train station in Shibuya are banner ads for upcoming PS3 titles, including Final Fantasy XIII.

if you f**in americans pull your heads out of your assess and realize the truth about MS and their shiiitty strategy, then Sony would give a da*mn about US...

Because lets face it, in the end... MS is really only trying to squueeeze every penny out of your pocket...

Japanese gamers have yet to blend in the FPS and hardcore games out there but, one thing i still admire from them... They are never blinded by a money "only" absorbing corporation.

Sony is dooooing reaaally well in both EU and JAP, why the hell wouldn't they secure those areas by throwing in ads like these....?

US are blinded by MS, so Sony probably is thinking:
"wtf, does anything get through these heads?
MS is fu**king eating these wallets and they are fine with that?
i give you guys F**king built in bluray, wireless internet built in, 80 GB storage, free online service... and what do you choose? Monthly payment to MS for a console that has one descent game GEARS,
SCREW YOU GUYS!"

that's probably what's going on in Sony's heads..

That is not only for the FFXIII poster, it's a series of posters featuring LBP, MGS5 and even WKC. Sony is also going to heavily promote FFXIII in Japan as it is their home turf.

Yes, that's true. I've been noticing lately that the PS3 gets so much hate here and around other parts of the world, they get some degree of respect.

It's like the media is on the heels of every mistake Sony makes on a daily basis and they don't focus on the good things Sony has done.

Is MS putting sh1tty control pads in the package then charging £30 for a rumble pad? NO

I have a 60gig launch console from launch with 15+ games and sill have 22 gig left

Well MS did put a pretty crappy D-Pad. I swear I could not play MK vs DC. I cant imagine anyone try to pull off the intricate moves and timing in VF5.

I don't understand why Microsoft was/is trying so hard to get sales in Japan.

As soon as FFXII comes out its over for 360 in Japan.
Unless they make it multiplatform in Japan at the last minute..

Im curious to see how much the sales sky-rocket for PS3 when it releases.

I live in England, the currency here is pound sterling, when i go to HMV or what have you, the price on the blu ray movie clearly states £15, not $15 or 15 euros but FIFTEEN POUNDS STERLING

Here in the uk a 60gb x360 costs £159.00, a plug in and play kit costs £15. Live costs £40 so that is a grand total of £214.00.

A bog standard 60 gig ps3 costs £299.00

All of the rest you dont really need

So tell me which one is cheaper

you can't buy a 60GB PS3 in the UK anymore. You can buy an 80GB PS3 for £299. A 160GB PS3 (plus extras) for £349.

@vasilisk, sorry i didnt realise you can only buy consoles from Play.com. I dont have a wireless adaptor for my x360 but i still manage, and no i dont intend on buying a blu ray player, the only way i will puchase one is if dvd becomes obsolete
