Update: Mirror's Edge PC Dated, Multiplatform DLC Confirmed
18

3 - And there goes Mirror's Edge...
... from my 'must-buy list'!
I LOVED the demo, but here they come with all the DLC nonsense again.
Just look at the DLC for Dead Space to know what direction this crap is heading :(
I'll wait till this game hits the bargain-bins before I'll pick it up. I'm not gonna spend 60 euro on a game and then come home, turn on my console, and see that they want me to spend another 30-40 (or more(!)) bucks for DLC to get the complete experience.
F--- that! I'll buy some other games instead.

You should have looked at previous EA games then. I believe it was battlefield where they wanted to put out buyable guns...BUYABLE GUNS.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. To be able to buy your way to the best is absurd, it makes those who dish out cash better, and those who don't dish out cash just quit playing.

5 - That's cool
The game is kind of short anyway. I just got it and beat it in two days, I already found half the bags in the game. There is going to be a part two just based off of the way it ended. To be honest, I am looking forward to getting more contant for this game. The story was basic, but yet enough to keep players interested in knowing what happend next. It was frustrating dying a million times, but it is still a good game and DLC could make for a great continuation.

6 - I hope the PC version can give us 4x FSAA.
I know the 360 and PS3 version had some aliasing issues, but not too much to consider it a problem. It's just there. Dead Space has some aliasing issues on consoles as well, and in the PC port, the aliasing hadn't been resolved.

Well, the 360 version of Mirror's Edge has 2xMSAA, but the PS3 version has none. I thought the 360 version looked a lot cleaner. If the PC version does indeed have 4xMSAA that will look even better.

9 - Way to f--k up, EA...

Great record so far;

#1 off topic, #2 since when is an 88/100 a flop? #3 the only bad reviews are those who compared it to Gears of War 2 (Note: Gears of War 2 is not an FPS, it's a TPS which the two aren't even comparable to begin with).
If it's flop you want...

flop you shall receive.

I agree, Resistance 2 is not a flop, it just isn't as good as some people were making it out to be.
Anyway, if this is true it turns out the PS3 isn't getting exclusive downloadable content for Mirror's Edge. On top of that, the 360 version looks somewhat better. Oh well, if this is true, I will definitely be getting it for the 360. The DLC was the only thing pushing me towards the PS3 version
