MGS4 Demo on the European PS Store

Ripten: "It's been a long time coming, but finally there's a demo of Kojima Production's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on the PlayStation Store. The Japanese PlayStation Store that is.

[UPDATE] - The demo is also on European PlayStation Stores, so the probability of it making its way to the US is reasonably high."

Actually, no.

It is the run-up to christmas, PS3 sales will go up for christmas and basiclly, this is the biggest reason, along with LittleBigPlanet, to get a PS3 so this will convince people to geat MGS4.

Plus, there are some good deals for it right now.

Infact, in the UK, in Argos, there is a PS3 80GB bundle on sell with a DS3, a 3rd party SIXAXIS, PS3 stand plus Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and LittleBigPlanet for £299.

Which is very very good.

totally agree...advertising and hype for the game got it through the summer just fine (4.3 million in sales since June is not bad considering the PS3's installed base, and the time of its release)...but anyone on the fence or wondering what to ask for for the holidays gets to try it out now...and now is better than over the summer...people may have forgotten about it by now with the release schedule of this season...but playing a demo, and seeing countless nods for GOTY over the next 1.5 months from the media may increase its sales considerably...anyone that hasn't tried it...do it...its being called one of the greatest games of all time for a reason...

Played through MGS4 in a week, wasn't my cup of tea and ended up selling it to a buddy and told me that he loved it.

Though I do agree that now that there is a demo everyone should download it and give it a try.

Jus tried it!! Ive neva played it b4, i wasnt planing on gettin it either because iv never played metal gear games, but wow the game is WOW!!! Getting it 1st thing tomorrow! Cant believe how awesome this game is, best demo ive ever played.

i had this game, sold it with my 2nd ps3 to get a car, it wasnt all THAT great to me, well, there isnt one game that made me stay on it forever (except madden) but it was a good game, i wrote a review on it, and got flamed because i gave it a 9.6, and they guy told me that i should work for microsoft...
