Its weird that sony's most high profile casual game will be mainly bought by the hardcore. I think the ps3 needs to get the casual onboard cos its certainly no ps2.

Famitsu counts bundles.. Sony spin starting to go to extremes to try to explain why games arent selling as well as they should.. Sorry but I'd easily take GTA4 over LKP any day. Not shocked to see that others feel the same way.

GTAIV was just released in Japan, so it's really no surprise. The other GTAs also did well there. Bad timing for LBP, though. They should've released it the week before GTAIV.

Im surprised japan is digging up GTA IV as much as they are, by looking at the numbers you would think the game that sold 160K units across 2 systems would be a JRPG.....but as proven with the US, GTA IV is far from a system seller

How come xbox still sell over 6500 units in japan when ps3 has a good week... i dont get it. I think xbox is doing better in japan than ps3...honestly ps3 sucks in japan just 36000 with two of the best games possible... come on...and xbox has just one game no bluray! no nothing(nothing to offer!!) and still has 6500..woaa. It hurt me a lot to say this but in two weeks ps3 sales are going back to normal(5000) and xbox 360 will be 6000 and UP.

LOL the fanboy calls the 360 dead in Japan because it was outsold by PS2... Guess what. PS2 outsold PS3 as well. Has all year long. Guess PS3 is dead as well.Running your mouth when you know nothing makes you look really stupid. Go read Sony's financial report where they admit PS2 outsold PS3. Now find another excuse for why 360 is dead because your same reasons apply to PS3 as well.Just more proof of why SOny fans in general are the laughing stock of gamers. Spin it! LBP sales shown are ONE day so we are going to have to wait to see next weeks numbers for a better estimate. Hardware wise the PS3 outsold the 360 6:1 in Japan as well. Again need to wait for next weeks numbers to see if this trend continues. Nice try at trolling but you fail. Maybe next time you should have waited to have your bowl of failios before posting.
