"Now that we are 3 weeks into the launch of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation it is about time for a more comprehensive update straight from the developers. All of us at Slant Six would like to thank those active community members who continually exhibit their passion for SOCOM- you are a tough audience but we would not want it any other way. The launch was pretty rough on all of us but we want to let you know that we are committed to continual improvement of the game...

...Here are some of the items planned for the update. Please note that some items listed may be delayed to a following update if additional development is required beyond what our schedule for the 1.30 update allows. This should not be considered a guarantee that these items will be in the 1.30 update, but we did want to give everyone a heads up as to what is on our plate currently..."

wow what a great update, thats alot of things people wanted, and TROPHIES, i think trophies, as with achievements, are a great way to add some additional replay to a game, cant wait to see this update, timing is bad with r2 coming out though.

that they are listening and are still positive despite the harsh reception to confrontation.

But from observation. Most SOCOM fans are still quite happy with the game.

All in all I enjoy playing this game a lot, and to see that they are not completely ignoring the problem makes me a bit more forgiving about the rocky launch.
Its too bad many will read the current reviews and write off this game as something other than what it is, a great tactical shooter with tons or reply value.

On a side not can't wait for Resistance 2 tomorrow, add me PSN: Tashito.

Must admit I have never played a Socom, but from the dodgy launch we have heard about I think I will wait until patch 1.40 is ready before purchasing off the PSN. Looking forward to playing it though. I think Online games in general start off bad Warhawk had its problems at 1st and that is awesome now.

Can't wait, most people don't use rockets or grenades in ranked rooms. Once I was in a room and one guy just keep rocket hoeing. During the intersessions peeps were calling him a rocket biatch,stop being so cheap and that he should jsut go play COD4 .

what I need left is the TIME to actually play the game! I got my copy but only managed to play several sessions because I'm too busy working! it's a great game and I'm addicted! I think I'm gonna find a reason so i don't have to go to work several days!

That Dive to prone option sounds awesome. I don't have the full game but i was in the beta. I'll definitely pick up Socom: Confrontation down the road after everything is more stable and streamlined.

Put more power to the sniper rifle! It takes 3 friggin shots in the chest with an M87ELR .51(FIFTY-ONE!) cal sniper rifle to kill someone. Bring back the M82A1A!

And what do they mean by stackable gear? Like... if you have both equipment slots taken on the same thing it'll be in one slot instead of 2 in the weapon HUD while switching?

Oh, and "Restrict RPGs and grenade launchers in ranked rooms" ...YES! FINALLY! Now we just need to get rid of the F90, USAS12, and the M60/MK .48 and all will be well in the world.

getting The Witcher: enhanced edition and Fallout 3 for the PC.. and maybe Farcry 2..

I think this game is going to be another UT3 where all the gamers just left the game completely due to bad online experience. Socom is online only so I don't know why they would release a game that doesn't pass their QA/beta test.
