I was sick not getting in the beta, but having played nothing else (well, except a little Disgaea) since getting this last Saturday I can say I'm totally blown away. The controls could use a little "tightening" (specifically jumping and momentum), but that is a minor complaint. It's definitely got GOTY potential. Can't wait for MM to put out more levels. The user created ones aren't quite to their level just yet.

How bout the several thousand ton Metal Gear Rex in the room? Did i mention it shoots lasers, missiles, gatling cannons, and a stealthy nuke system?

Also, there's an Old Snake in it's mouth... but you cant see him cuz of Octocamo!

3 - yea...
im not gonna lie. I thought that overall Fallout 3 would be the better game, its not though. LBP actually looks like it'll have even more than 100 hours of play time and still be fun. And this is me only playing both games for 3 days... and the fact that I HATE the animation in F3-it really pisses me off. they are both goty candidates though..

I never noticed any problems with Fallout 3 animations. I have the PC version though, but I don't think that was a problem with the PS3 game.

If there ever actually was a large scale nuclear war, one of the first effects it would have on organisms is that they would begin skating all over the place. That is, you take one steep, but you magically skate double the distance.

All 3 of those games rock. MGS4 left a huge impact on me this year. R2 is going to do the same, and I guess I can't deny LBP is the most likely GOTY though I had wanted MGS4 to get it .... I dunno.

MGS4 is much likely to be GotY on IGN.

If IGN picked GTA:IV, they know they will lose some respect from it's visitors since most of us if not all know that GTA:IV is this year's highly overrated game. :)

5 - 360 has no games.
