RPGfan : New FFXIII Details Announced

Chris Winkler writes "Square Enix offered some new tidbits about Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsuu. The male character seen in the various trailers of Final Fantasy XIII is called Snow Villiers. Character designer Tetsuya Nomura commented that the development is going to improve the visual quality of the game even further."

there was a rumor not sure if its true.. lightnings favorite color is strawberry ragu...

Im done looking at FF news. They keep releasing some of the same boring stuff. A new character is revealed and so on. Sorry SE but you don't have the clout you used to have and little tid bits of info like this every few months just shows how slow you are in development. I agree with Colbert. Lvl 5 has you beat in my book.

5 - You guys know...
If FFXIII comes out and gets a 10 by reviewers and wins alot of awards, all this anger will be swept under the rug! Yes, they are pissing fans off with their strategy, but we will buy it and play it... and love it itf it really is a great title!

5.1 - I disagree.
I won't be buying (or even playing) FF13 regardless. You can't say "IF" it will be a great title, because it won't be. It's being downgraded for the Xbox 360 so the whole game is going to fail and be the worst FF game in the history of FF games (sure they won't tell you that FF13 is going to be a downgraded piece of crap now because Square-Enix won't tell you the truth. They are a washed up has-been company). Plus the environemtn & characters look dull and it's by Square-Enix (it's not like it's a good RPG by Squaresoft).

People still seem to try and relive the hype of the old days when Squaresoft made good FF games so they hype up every piece of crap FF game that comes out now. Face it, FF13 will be garbage like all the other FF games Square-Enix made.

well i will be getting both final fantasy 13 games plus that psp one regardless of comments or reveiws they dont define me liking a game or not play it for your self you may or may not like it if someone you know likes it let them play it dont tell them its not good just let them play it they might like it but dont hate them for liking it

8 - how cool would it be
if an RPG had the word "RPG" in its title?

Maybe someone can make and RPG that heavily utilizes Rocket Propelled Grenades against an antagonist who is a really pissed gambler. I'd call this game "RPG Utilized Against a RPG" ("Rocket Propelled Grenades Utilized Against a Really Pissed Gambler").

I know this looks ridiculous at first glance, but think about it for a second. Who on this planet is most likely to want to rip off your head? How about a once proud man who lost all of his fortune on a Royal Flush? How was he supposed to know that 5 aces beats a Royal Flush, if wild cards are used? Now he's homeless and this chaulky little metro-sexual Japanese-wannabe dragging a sword ten times heavier than he can carry and decorated with 20 times more stickers than a blackberry bush constantly awakens him in the middle of the night as he takes advantage of the area's rat infestation, dancing rather queerly after each kill and growing stronger as a result.

Now imagine that said Japanese-wannabe has an RPG along with his large sword, which is adorned with innumerable stickers. I see a recipe for a battle of epic proportions.

Man goes from riches to rags. Rags are torn down by little prepubescent spaz w/ an RPG. Man is enraged to the point of wanting to hunt down and kill said prepubescent spaz w/ an RPG. A story full of death and explosions ensues. Bloody brilliant!
