GT5:prolouge, Ratchet:Q4B and SSDHD. the last guy is a bit left to be desired. Still all that plus 160 gigs of space and a Dual shock 3 controller. Thats hot stuff.

Very clever pack Sony!

Super Stardust HD is their competition to Geometry Wars on XBLA - it just so happens to be a really fun and killer downloadable title everyone should have.

GT5: Prologue will get more GT around the world in preparation for GT5. The more people who experience GT5:Prologue, the better chance GT5 has of selling (plus the many who are just waiting for GT5)

R&C is a sort of unique PSN title, helps advertise R&C PS3, and Insomniac, thus helping with Resistance 2 sales.

The Last Guy was just added in for fun I reckon, to give the package more value. I've only played the demo but honestly its really fun and challenging... like a new age pacman... helps advertise PSN versatility for months to come (Fat Princess anyone?)

All-in-all, this is one incredible deal, and hopefully will increase PS3 sales. It's obvious Sony are trying to get some good SKU's out.

7.4 - I actually like Super Stardust HD better than Geometry wars, especially after they added the "endless" mode
And that's saying something, considering how many hours I've logged in Geometry Wars. It's simply an amazing game, and one that no PS3 owner should be without.

i thought i was the only crazy guy buying a second one. Im gonna buy the 160 gig bundle next month. I have an original 20 gig but I slapped a 250 gig drive in it. I figure I get a 160 gig for upstairs and I won't need to swap the drive out anytime.

To me and you this is a great deal, but to the mums out there it's still to expensive,do you see? 360 arcade £99.99, PS3 £340.00. Both equally powerful, both with great games. For GAMES, what would you choose? Now, as a gamer i choose both, but as a casual player it's now a Wii or a 360. And before you start, please don't preach to the converted, i do own a PS3 and it's worth every penny of the £299.00 i paid. Well, it will be when the new batch of games arrive.Anyway, don't get mad, i'm just trying to add some balance and maybe some objectivity.

If I like the game, I'll get the game; If I'm not sure, put out a demo. quit jazzing up the bundles to give the excuse to keep the price up.

They're adding games to the bundles so that they can add value without having to lower the price. That's the same thing that Sega tried to do when the original PlayStation came in $100 less than the Saturn. Sega knew they couldn't afford to drop the price, so they started bundling games.

What's interesting about it is that Sega had much more brand recognition in the video game market because Sony was a relative newcomer. They also had the massive list of arcade properties that Sony did not. But, as history shows, brand recognition wasn't enough. People were more attracted to the greater software support and lower price.
