TGS 08: FFXIII Trailer Audio Now Online

Someone who attended Square Enix's closed mega theater at Tokyo Game Show 2008 has managed to record the audio of the new Final Fantasy XIII trailer, and for the first time we can hear the characters (Lightning and Mr.33CM) talk.

This is absolutely pathetic. Who cares about the audio for a trailer we have been seeing for a non existent title for the past 4 years? In game demonstrations would be helpful. SE's attempts to hype this game out of this galaxy is far beyond lame.

Who cares about freakin audio!?! Just give us the damned video. Why do they have to show it in private?

To further add to what you have said, why did square end up using the UE3 in the last remnant when they apparently spent alot of time and money developing the white engine and crystal tools? something is wrong somewhere. Square have done more hype and talking than actual development work. I can go as far as saying they are still in the conception and collection of objects/assets stage in their development model (which ever they are abiding by). We need to face the facts that square has been too busy with remakes and hand helds.

I wont be surprised if this game gets pushed back further than 2009. So you mean to tell me that after 15 millenniums of development, we are supposed to get excited about a mere audio? damn, the game industry is becoming something else.
