if its for LBP.. i'll gladly fill the HDD, but then again, i don't want to wait that long!! WAIT!!! i take it back.. unless Sony puts the install online before the game is in store (say one day or two or sumit) so i can download it and install it so i can play it straight away when i buy it :)

My comment was based on the sony guys that come over to the wii forums and tells us how kiddie our games are. I just couldnt understand why they would be interested in this seemingly "kiddie" game.

Im not saying "I" wont buy it, i was just wondering why the ps3/360 ONLY gamers would be interested based on what the sony and microsoft posters post in on the wii forum. (your one of them!)

Are you really that dence? The beta is only 4 small levels and a very small sample of the objects that the game will have. The full games story mode is 50+ levels, tons of tools, stickers, clothing, and costumes. The 600mb install is going to just help load faster and more then likely load the popit menu quicker.

Ok yes the final game will be 30 X bigger than the beta which is around 1GB.The final game is 40GB with an overload of content such as levels and level tools in the Blu-Ray disc.

I think you mixing the install info up.
The whole game isn't 600mb, but the install is, its not installing the whole game onto the harddrive, just say the most used components, the movies, tutorials and rest will be streamed off the disk.
Hence why the Beta was 900mb an extra 300mb more, it had videos included.

No. Microsoft was not the ones that said, "We want to give our fans a choice on weather or not to install data to the hard drive." They said, "Lets make one version really crappy so we save lots of money and make them pay more for a hard drive than if they just would have bought the higher end model." The reason you have a "choice" is because developers can't count on you having a hard drive. Not because Microsoft is "giving" you a choice.

What about that statement makes me sound desperate? Its the truth! If all Xbox 360's had a hard drive, developers would utilize that and make you install game data! Because Microsoft wanted make a sku without a hard drive, developers cannot count on everybody having a hard drive. Do you really think that if all Xbox 360s had at least a 20 gig hard drive Microsoft would still make installing game data 'optional' when it is done on the PS3? There is no way that it would be like that.
