Little Big Planet is not a perfect game, control is mostly good, but not completely unimpaired. Hope can feel a little too vague sometimes and when it moves between the three levels deep as the two-dimensional courses are constructed of becoming the problem sometimes. But despite that and the online approach is not yet in use is Little Big Planet a wonderful experience.

Charming, beautiful and a durability that is the console life out.

the controls in the game are great, i do have to say that dimensions are hard to pick up the first time but hey its called a small learning curve. this game should have been a 10 or a 9.8 (9.9=10 alright, no need to be cheap)

Well if they can't figure out that up and down with the left analogue stick moves you in and out of the screen there is something wrong. It is really not that hard. My 7 year old lttle girl can do it.

The game isn't a 10 but IMO it is a 9.8. Beta is awesome but control issues do appear on occasion. I score it higher than I normally would because it is a pretty cool experience. It can be repetitive (made up for by level design features) and the "wow" factor will wear off eventually. Since I enjoyed it as did my 9 and 6 yo kids. It's a 9.8 and that ain't too bad.

This is why the rating system is so flawed. I mean GTA IV was fun while it lasted, but everyone got the replayability ratings wrong. A 10 for replayability on GTA IV? Even then, if one game is a 10 and the other is a 8.0, the lower marked one can be all around better game when it comes to preference.

*cough* *cough* Saints Row 2 *cough* *cough*

Personally I predict LBP will get a 94 on Metacritic or somewhere close to that. Somehow I know someone is going to rate it lower than most people's expectations to this game. Personally I'd give a 95, same as Halo 3. They both have great gameplay, great online, great level editing, but when it comes down to it, there has to some flaws to make it not perfect.

PS: I'll probably get flamed for saying Halo 3 + LBP = Same score.

I can tell you like this. Gamereactor SWEDEN is the most biased pos magazine next to kotaku. I mean the editors are die hard xbox fanboys...I know since I'm a swede myself. They didn't hesitate to give Gears, Halo 3 and even Mass Effect perfect 10's but not even MGS4, the greatest game this gen received a 10. It got a 9, so don't take this article too seriously.

First of all: What are the matters with you guys? 9 stands for a fantastic and awesome game.

Second Gamereactor (Sweden and Denmark) gave MGS4 a great 9. Gamereactor Denmark just gave LBP a 10. The Swedish magazine is due for the next week, which includes the LBP review, dunno about the Norwegian, Finnish or English magazines.

Third this isn't even Gamereactor.

Agree with you, just check their magazzines, they put a "coming to X360" even to multiplatform games so one get the impression that those games are X360 exclusives

Also, they put up an article about the PS4 (WTF???), they wrote it's coming within 2-3 years and at a cheaper price than the PS3...what a coincidence, just before christmas they publish an article like saying to people, "don't buy the PS3, it's to expensive, wait for the PS4 instead"

And yes, MGS4 got a 9/10 from them

However, LBP got a 10/10 from GameReactor sweden as well, Mikael reviewed, second opinion from Peter was a 9/10...but the official score from them is 10/10, LBP IS THAT GOOD!

I just picked up the GR magazzine at El Giganten...it's supposed to be out until the 15th but for some reason El Giganten Barkarby, Stockholm had it already...you might want to check the places where you use to pick it up.

Apparently to most people this game getting a 9 is like the apocalypse, it's not suppose to be this way to most people. This site suggests LBP and KZ2 are God's gift to gaming while I don't believe in the score system at all. Different strokes for different people, some people might like Coke others might like Pepsi. Me personally, I'm a Pepsi man.

A 9 is far from bad. Army of Two, I think deserved a 8.0 from most sites, it was a really good game marred by some camera and campaign length issues, but most sites gave it 60 - 75 which I think is wrong.

Army of Two and Stranglehold are two of my most underrated games this gen mainly because they were just fun. Combining the two would practically be gaming ecstasy for me, destructible enviroments, badass co-op sections, slo-mo action, buddy cop awesomeness, cheesy storylines. What else would anybody need?

I went really far off topic here but people need to know about these games, especially Stranglehold which I picked up for $11.97 after tax at my local EB Games.

i didnt preorder this game until i received a beta key from a sony admin of one website. I played the beta and was totally hooked.

I've preordered the game and looking forward to it.
