Snake and Sephiroth to be 'sold for download'

The official SCEI report states that both the 'Old Snake' and 'Sephiroth' costumes will be sold for download on the Playstation Store worldwide.

It would have been nicer if you were rewarded a code for doing something in MGO and then that code could be used to download mgs sack boy. Same thing for FFXIII. Paying for sackboy is almost as low as selling themes sony

i agree with almost all u just said .. but then again the codes are gona be for the HOME thing . i think ..

like wen u get 25% 50%75% 100% of a games trophyes u get something to use at HOME .. like a Tshirt a tabble W.E it mai be ..

but like i said all in all is ok only who wants it will buy it im ok with my sack Boy looking like that i kinda like it .. damn lil thins always get a laugh out of me lol..

Well it's just like Pain and their charged for character. Don't think it's worth it, don't buy them. As long as it doesn't effect the actual game your not missing anything by saving your money.

Another instance of DLC before the game even releases. Mine as well put it on the disk and sell a 10kb unlock code for 5$.

I wont buy it, I'll just make my own snake sackboy with the "build anything, do anything" LBP world. Unless, you can't really do as much as you would think?

Looks like they'll be releasing them in content packs though.

"The costumes were introduced, each delivering content to add the item to be included is a part of. Costume and set other items as a package attractive."

It's a Luxury, not a Necessity.

If you don't like paying for this DLC, then it's ok, it won't hurt or make the game incomplete. If you have the money and a fan of those said games, then buy it. You will feel good about it, and that's worth every penny spent.

As for me, Old Snake Sackboy is already on my Christmas List.

paying for this?!?! this isnt even close to being dlc... honestly how hard could it be to create that snake outfit?? it probably took 30 minutes to create. this is just the lowest of low.this by a landslide is so much worse than the oblivion horse armor.at leased the armor was 3 diffrent horse suites LOL. this is just ridiculous.

Yeah, there's no fun in that. I know alot of people want their own unique sackboy anyways, so people might use their Kratos and Nariko sackboy for a little while, but then want their own. I know I wouldn't want my sackboy to look like someone else's unless it was a Killzone Helghast level and we were all wearing the outfits.

I payed .99 cent for Kratos in HSG:OOB. These little trinkets are a few cents more than a candy bar and besides Sony damn near gave WipeOut HD away for $20, PSN is free. Home is free, so I never feel like I'm being ripped off by Sony. Me buying content here and there only makes PSN that more feasible for Sony, Their Partners and Us(The Gamers).

I don't buy DLC unless it map's or stuff thats actually usefull on my 360. I certainly wont be buying new costumes for sackboy either!!

side note : PS3 fanboys bash micro transaction on the 360, but sure do love them on the PS3???
