The things is, as a "hardcore" gamer who plays action/shooters i cant seem to enjoy making levels myself. I much rather play other ppl's levels and create levels with my friends not myself. I find more fun in doing that. GO LBP!

There are GREAT levels, alot of the ones THEMED around Mario (or anything like that are OK) some of the other ones are INSANE. GREAT Mario Levels WILL come, just give it time. People need time w/ the tools first to do it properly. The levels that will be popping up NEXT month will be CRAZY.

1.11 - i'm expecting at the most a 9 from eurogamer...
but if wouldn't be surprised if they gave it an 8.9 just so it's on the 8 side.

They do this simply cause they still hate the ps3 plus the whole traffic issue.. and it's surprising that this site is still so important so some.

After spending just a wee 40 hours on a beta that only only contains 4 of the 50 story levels, creation toolset, and online play, I have concluded that LittleBigPlanet Beta receive a 10/10. Now the full game, 11/10......i take a 80 Couric sized crap at the mere thought of it coming out on the 21st.

This game really deserves it. I've been in the beta and I've seen the creativity of people and it really impresses me at times when some people create levels better than the few that are story wise. (The few levels from the story on the beta that is, can't really judge the full story per se)

There are some creative little people out there for sure. Noteworthy levels like "World of Colour", "Little Big Collosus" , "Hollow Bastion", and my own creation "MILE HIGH ADVENTURE!". Check it out!

Oh and btw, here in Portugal (yeah I know, not a big market and all, but hear me out), the publicity has already began anticipating this title. 2day I saw flyers of a big chain of a multinational electronic consumer products (MediaMarkt), with sacboy's and girls saying "coming soon" all around their laptops, tv's and lcd's advert's. Shows that, at least to some point, they are finally coming out with the marketing..

You really cannot comment on this game unless you have played it. How is it repetitive when you can create virtually anything? The possibilities really are endless. I played a South Park trivia level yesterday. Somebody made a claw prize machine. Someone made a construction site with different tasks to complete before allowing you to move on. Its ridiculous how much you can do in this game. Couple that with the 60+ pre-made levels that come on the disc and you have got one amazing game. And how can you call this game 'slow'. That doesn't even make any sense...

I think that LBP will get well recieved by the major U.S. Gaming websites as well (Gamespot, X-Play, Game Informer, Gametrailers) because many of them have been the ones hyping up LBP all along. I don't think that they would have created hype for the game unless they really had high hopes for the game.

If the PS3's price was $299 I could see LBP being a huge system seller, but the PS3 is still at $399 and I'm not 100% convinced yet that it will be a system seller, but I think it will push some PS3 hardware... hopefully those LBP PS3 bundles in Europe will do well, and it would be nice if the Japanese would jump over this game to give the PS3 a push over there until White Knight Chronicles hits and blows everything else away.

wow another mention of Pelaaja on n4g, this warms my heart :) i'm finnish and been a subcriber to this magazine since the beginning. they are a great source of videogame news, and VERY trustworthy.

i think they're also the biggest gaming mag in northern europe, or the second biggest. so their opinion matters over here.

Pelaaja is very reliable. But the biggest mag in Scandinavia and Northern Europe (if we exclude UK) is Gamereactor, which by the way will review LBP in the next issue (due for 8th October)

I can't wait for the 22th :D
