Taking Care of our Own: More LBP Beta Love

From the LittleBigPlanet News Site: "We know that this has been a crazy week for you LBP fans. Some of you were lucky enough to score a beta key from a variety of sites online, some of you scored some right here. And of course, there were many who did not.

This didn't sit well with us.

So for the past couple of days we have trying to able to open up the beta so we can generate more public beta keys to offer to you.

And that's exactly what we are going to do.

So if you-

1) Are 18 years old or older
2) Have ever posted in the LBP News Site on or before Wednesday, October 1st, 5:00PM (PST)
3) Fill the requirements that we stated on the "TGIM- Public Beta Access" Post.
4) Opted in to receive emails
Then we are sending you a LBP beta invite in the next 48 hours.

We hope that this will fill your LBP needs between now and launch.

Again thanks for all the support and sorry for such a roller coaster week."

YOU MUST BE IN NORTH AMERICA OR CANADA FOR THIS TO BE VALID

At least Europe gets the preorder bonuses, Australia has gotten NOTHING. Even New Zealand got beta codes and preorder offers.

yeah I read the fine print when I originally signed up. A bit disappointing. Played the BETA @ Jimbo's today. HOLY CR#P, its awesome. Now I want one even more than before. Hopefully there'll be an 'open beta' in the last week, hopefully

I've posted about the game everywhere except the official site, it seems, so that leaves me out. Still, you can't argue with this. These are the people who deserve the codes most.

This is great for everyone who posted; I feel like such a moron for not realizing they would do this.

MM needs to get on GameSpot though. My friend sent his e-mail for the beta a little over five minutes after me, but he received his beta key earlier today. I still have nothing; it is absolutely ridiculous.

Heh...I commented the first day the site went up but no time after that, I hope they send me another code. This will be my 4th code lol. One from Playstation Underground, one from the official AU Playstation site, and one from the blog today.

My daughter wants to play this game so bad. We watched X-Play together and she giggled the entire show. Hopefully i win one in that contest.

Man this game is soOoOoOoOoO fuggin awsome and TRUE to the hype bcuz it damn sure is WORTHY! I hope they extend the BETA bc its over on the 11th. I dunno rather to stay up later and continue playin it or go to bed now so I can play it early tomorrow b4 i go to work. I so want to call in sick! XD

26 - Got my LBP beta key(THANK YOU PSU!!!!!)

I have been playing this since I got off work at 10. My hopes and expectations for LBP were set very VERY high and can I just say that Media Molecule has exceeded them by a country mile!

I started off playing the Story mode and the first 2 levels were ok. The graphics pwn but there wasnt much going on aside from the tutorial stuff but by level 3 I couldnt believe how much fun this ip has in store. Its a platformers fan wettest dream.

So after the story mode I checked out online and man!!! thats when it all came together and I now understand the Hype over this game. The online aspect is AMAZINGLY FUN and you cant help but laugh and smile the whole time your playing.

Sackboy is one lovable dude and he animates amazingly well and controls well once you get the hang of him. You will be dancing, frowning, smiling, grabbing and slapping in no time.

I can go on and on about LBP. Its a game the posseses that special magic that you would find in the all time top 10 Nintendo games only this crown jewel belongs to Sony and boy is it special.

With the Beta ending on October 11th I suddenly dont feel so lucky to have won a key. Its gonna feel like someone gave me a Porsche and then took it back. Luckily the finished Blu Ray version is just a few weeks away.

Juuken and Gentlemen I kid you not, this game is everything you expected and more and I cant wait until you guys are able to play it so you can see where I'm coming from.

Sony has found a diamond in the rough with MM and I cant wait to see what they do next but one things for sure.. they are gonna have a hard time time topping LBP.
