Today sees the Pro Evo Soccer 2009 demo hitting the PSN Store - check the post for full details of what's included in the demo. There's also a sizable (2GB) BioShock demo, too.

Elsewhere, check out Geon (with Trophies) for £4.99, 7 FIFA 09 Live Season gamepacks (fiver each) and loads of Rockband stuff. More interestingly, both PixelJunk soundtracks are up (Eden and Monsters) for just £1.49 each, and then there's loads of fluffy trailers as per normal.

Good update, actually a few demos I really want to try out. Bioshock demo is 2gb? Wonder whats different (if anything) form the original demo (PC/360) which if I recall correctly was arourd 1.1gb.

Cant wait to see if Konami ironed out the problems from PES 08.

pes is so good!
it feels more natural then ever before...the players look decisively more realistic and move better. They definitely are not the stick men from the last game.

I have to be honest...I thought it was going to be fifa over pes this year...but this is next gen pes proper!!!

The Eden soundtrack is over 100 minutes long, so £1.49 (about $3) is a real bargain.

gonna spend all night downloading then haha wanna see what PES is like. 08 was a bit broken (especially on ps3) and i've never really been a fifa fan so looking forward to seeing what pes09 will be like.

might give the Bioshock demo a look as well. i won't buy it since i played it on 360 and loved it. But wanna see if there is much difference with graphics etc

Yes, Bioshock looks a little bit sharper on the PS3.

PES 09 is amazing - so much better to play than Fifa 09

dloading now. It reminds me of the old sensible soccer VS Kickoff football battle WAY back. PES is the Sensible of today. Kickoff/FIFA just couldnt quite cut it for me

Problem is with the socom, lbp and killzone beta's as well as having just downloaded WipEout (which is glorious in hd on a 42" 1080p tv) I cant see me having the time to check them out properly!

Id say this is the best update weve had in the UK for at least 12 months!!!

Still nt tried either demo (downloaded overnight)but at least its something other than an add on for a game or a video trailer for something thats not out for ages
