It started around 1:30 pm est time, it was a first come first serve basis. I would say if you didn't get within the first 10 mins you won't get a key. But it doesn't hurt to try. I had 3 computers refreshing the page from the start and it took me 7 mins to get the register box to come up. Fingers crossed........

12 - This is really bad publicity!
I have to say I am giving up on getting a key now.

I have tried all the current ones, am sick of signing up for things on broken websites that crash under the traffic. Sick of jumping through hoops. This should have been a demo. The level that was shown at GDC in 2007 should have been a demo for God's sake.

I am officially angry with Sony. There should have been a random lottery of PSN id's given the beta without any fuss. Base it on activity if you need criteria.

I am now not going to buy Little Big planet at Launch. I will be playing Far Cry 2 and Saints row 2 instead in October. I will wait a few months, maybe around Christmas and get Little big Planet then, second hand from a game store trade in.

It may be cutting off my nose to spite my face but that is how angry I feel at the moment. You won't see a penny from me Media Molecule. You just lost a sales figure. A drop in the ocean, but I want anyone who feels the same way as me about the handling of this beta/demo to agree with me. Let's see what opinion is like on this issue.

I think this whole beta thing has been the biggest c0cktease ever. At the same time it has generated a MEGATON amount of free publicity for the game which is good and ultimately the point. If i get more than 1 code ill send you 1 cause I feel where your coming from and most of my mates off n4g already have 1.

its a month til the game is released, rumours at the moment say that the beta will be open to evr1 a week b4 launch, basically a demo.
To me i think its good really, its annoying for those that cant get in but its creating real hype, its folowing the wii formula of restricting supply to build hype and make it the thing evr1 ids talking about, which if it means more people buying the game means a larger comunity to make the game better, or more people buying ps3s for the game means a larger insttll base which will lead to better support of the ps3 from 3rd party devs

i think you're angry at the wrong people. i'm in your shoes right now.. that' why I'm taking a break from sign up anymore of those teaser site.. don't get mad at LBP, pissed off at those dman websites that never give a s about ps3 game, but now use one of the best ps3 game to lurk in new subscriptions and memberships. f them.. not LBP.

I agree with blue here. These sites never gave Sony and the PS3 the time of day and now they're trying to market this game like crazy for their own benefit.

Dude, You sound like a 5 yr old! so you have to wait like most people! What is the point of having a beta if everyone can get in. It is a privilege not a F-ing right. Last I checked they are giving away free beta keys right. I had to pay 5 bucks to get into the R2 Beta. So Sony is a bad guy for even having a BETA right. Maybe they shouldn't have had a beta at all like all of the 360 games (except COD5). Give me a break.

My wife and I have not been able to put it down since we got it two days ago.

Maybe a total of 10 hours of game time. We are going to build a level together tonight.

Seriously, Now for 3 days I have competed and mailed and competed even freakin' more, just for a Beta key. MAN! Today i signed in with 8 different accounts / emails on gamepro, and if i dont get it now, i give up.. Dont know why it is so bluddy hard to get a key, when i tried so hard :P lol
