Nothing beats Sony paying for IGN's exclusive coverage of GTAIV. I laughed like a mofo when it was proven that the 360 version of GTAIV runs in a higher resolution. IGN am failed.

Very true. But unfortunately the 360 version suffers from heavy dithering making it's higher resolution look worse.

I know it sounds strange, but the PS3 version running in a lower resolution helped the overall image. And no this isn't some fanboy statement. It would be nice of the PS3 version ran 720p as well. But my point is that the finished look isn't as bad.

I have no Idea why Rockstar decided to put that amount of dithering effect into the 360 version.

Nope this issue comes out at the end of october.
In all honesty I think OPM will give R2 a 9/10.
The game in the end probably will deserve scores like 10/10, but OPM have already given perfect scores to two PS3 exclusives this year.
If they gave Resistance 2 a 10/10, people would probably accuse them of being heavily biased. (Despite giving the first Resistance a mere 7/10)

R1 actually was probably an 8/10 to me. Same with Halo 3. There are some things I liked about Halo 3 over R1.

R2 is looking at least 9/10.

The only game that deserved a 10/10 this year for me was MGS4.

Oh yea, 8-player coop online, 60 player multiplayer, 70 maps, epic scale gameplay and environment, stuuning graphics, and 2 separate campaigns is so average for a console FPS game.../end sarcasm

I do have a problem with it, with buying reviews, and game journalism as a whole unfortunately. I just think its funny that you call this out in an intelligent manner despite your love of trolling. Will you be singing the same song when Gears 2 or Fable 2 "exclusive" reviews come in? Will you stand by ANY review scores when comparing Ps3 titles with 360 titles, or will you be a smart gamer (which I'm sure you could be, I bet you just like to piss people off) and stand by your OWN opinion in the end?

Still, nothing beats the Halo 3 swag bag for "review incentive..."
