WWE Upset With Fighting Spirit For Video Game Preview

This past week WWE has attempted to control the media. There is some heat towards UK's magazine the Fighting Spirit for their preview of SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 video game.

In the latest issue, the magazine printed a memo sent out by WWE to the video game press regarding coverage of their upcoming video game with how it's portrayed in previews. WWE told the press that there are to be no screenshots released showing superstars bleeding or using weapons. Triple H's character is also not to be seen "in a defenseless or vulnerable position."

I only watch the undertaker

he's the best wrestler in the history of the industry

I also like hbk,batista,hhh,big show

but in general,wwe is lacking today

lol i only atch pro wrestling NOAH XD i wont buy another wwe game until i can use my own music. The last WWE game i played was with brock lesnar on the cover. Year after year they keep getting worse.

The Games are still fun. That is why they still exist. SVR 2008 though was a bad one. WWE is losing its fans and ratings now. They need to get their act together if they want to have their shows on TV in a few years. I am waiting for TNA to grow a pair and go after one of WWE's shows. Only then will something be good enough to watch again from either brand. I like TNA better than WWE, but I don't trust their first outing in the videogame market just yet.

WWF was the sh!t back in the day..dude when you had the best wrestlers The Rockers,Ultimate Warrior,Hulk Hogan,Mr.Perfect,The Barbarian,Warlord,The Hart Foundation,Demolition,The Legion of Doom man I could go on and on..wrestling has turned into a soap opera..I haven't seen it in a while, but they are still selling out arenas and selling a ton of these games..so theres still alot of fans left..

actually people saying that nobody buys int the wwe anymore is misinformed

currently the wwe is the biggest it has been since 1999, unfortunately popular =/= quality

programming sucks, the acting sucks, the games are weaker
but thats what you get when you have no real competition because tna is a joke and they bought everything else

i was hoping the tna game would offer a good fight for the smackdown vs raw franchise but unfortunately it sucked as well

smackdown = madden of wrestling games

they aren't mind blowingly good but it is all we have
