L.A. Noire: A Year Off and No Longer PS3 Exclusive?

I am not going to make any judgments about this game until I see some gameplay info/vids or some actual details about what the hell game is actually about. We actually know nothing about it.

They only play AAA exclusives so I guess they'll pass on this one.

Look at the 8Days footage, all they are doing by makign it multiplatform is cheapening it.

Either 360 or PS3 exclusive would be great. Multiplatform games are basically a no buy for me nowadays becuase they aren't using the PS3 properly.

Well if that's the case lets see what happens if Third party developers stopped developing for the PS3. Can you imagine not having Madden,GTA 4, Call of Duty, FF VIII, MGS4, DMC4, NCAA, NBA Live etc etc.. You make it sound like Sony doesn't need third party support to be sucessful. Third Party support is crucial and probably the most important factor for console makers. I know Sony has the biggest first party studios out there but the best selling games on the PS3(GTA 4, MGS4, COD4)were all made by third party studios. So you should give more respect to third party developers..

Funny you say that but when FF13 went Multi Plat it caused a ruckus on the internet. That was a huge blow to Sony and even hardcore PS3 fanboys can admit that. Also when GTA4, DMC4, AC6 which were formerly PS3 exclusives went Multi Plat hurt sony as well because i'm pretty sure there were fans of those games who would've bought a PS3 instead of a 360 so that they can play that game.. Last gen third party exlusives was the huge reason why the PS2 destroyed the competition.. But this Gen theres no such thing as third party exlusives except MGS4.. So the biggest factor in which console gamers are going to chooose is price.. Yes first party titles will make a difference but not too big of a difference to sway a real gamer and not a fanboy from buying one console to another.

Again funny you say that when the biggest PS3 exclusive that supposedly moved a ton of console was a TP exclusive in MGS4. GTA4 would've done the same thing for the PS3 if it stayed exclusive.

Nintendo is moving console because of the new concept and cheaper console compared to the 360/PS3 before the price drop for the 360.
Yes TP support is pretty much non existant on the Wii and that is the main complaint about the Wii. Go ask any wii owners who also have either a 360 or PS3 which they played more after they got sick of Wii sport and beat Mario.

DaTruth dude you need to read the statement from the dev's at id. They said they are not cutting anything just instead of having 5 seperate land areas they will combined them into 2. Same scope but with just 2 so it is easier to divide amongst 2 dvd's.

It was average Rck. It looked like the first 50 cent game trailer and had the exact same ending too. Didn't tell you anything about the game either except that it will be cast around 1940-1950.

If this game can compete with both The godfather 2 and Mafia 2 then go right ahead. Im not keeping my fingers crossed untill I see some in-game screens thou.

Tester...Rockstar is developing an exclusive game for the PS3, possibly two.

If Microsoft keeps bullying Rockstar over this DLC business, I'm sure Rockstar wouldn't want to do business with them again.

tester, Microsoft is constantly saying that DLC will be available for Christmas 2008 and Rockstar is saying they don't have a release date. You have two different sides to the story.

PC gaming is dead, if WOW never existed it would be dead for good. The only good game coming to the pc is diablo 3. Which probably is just coming to the consoles. PC gaming wouldnt be dead if they learned how to create a more secure serial registration. Serials are killing pc gaming. Its so easy to go online and find a keygen in 1 min. Thats why half of the new pc games don't even have keygens. They just figured theres no way of stopping the game being pirated so why bother. Even the head dev from crytech said crysis was pirated more than it was bought. Thats how it is with all pc games. Plus PC gaming is expensive. You have to upgrade your pc every other month to play the latest games. When I can just use my PS3 and have the same experience for much cheaper. Sorry but I lost all interest in pc gaming. I used to love my pc games. But now with the new gen games its too expensive to keep up with the latest games.

If this is not a ps3 exclusive then what is the third PS3 exclusive R* is making for the PS3 (I am not sure if it is 2 or 3). I am actully happy this is not one of those 3 games R* is making exclusive for the PS3. inFamous was the only open word game in my list for next year and I didn't really want to add another one to it. Open world games are good but at the most one per year. So it is good that this game isn't one of those three games. Hopefully the next exclusive they are making isn't an open world game.
