20.000 LBP beta invites for America, Japan and Europe

PS3-Sense writes "In total there are 60.000 invites for the LittleBigPlanet beta. Every region (America, Japan and Europe) gets 20.000 invites."

- Beta applications start on the 17th and run through the 23rd. (Japan!)
- Beta play starts on the 29th and runs through October 12th.
- 60k users will be picked (20k per region).
- Story mode and Create mode will be available for play.
- 950mb file.

Hmm, it doesn't mention how you apply but I guess that will be revealed soon. Although, if you're in Japan, you can download the theme from the store as a way of entry.

Look on the official LBP site. I can remember registering my details about a month ago. Its probebly closed now that invites have already started.

PS No invite for me yet :( But I am going to the Little Big Planet shop in Manchester this weekend :)
