Edit: Sorry. I have been away for a while and was intervebz less for a while. Last I heard it was a PS3 exclusive... That changed at TGS? Maybe I was misinformed in the begining or something otherwise.... Probably was all rumor anyway....

Not that it matters I am not a Tekken fan but was just curious.

I dunno for sure if it will remain ps3 exclusive , but bear in mins that the hardware for arcade t6 is basically a modified ps3.

It will most likely depend of the success of the game on ps3

Tekken 6 will be out in December, on PS3, Nanco MIGHT bring it to 360, right now no codes been ported, the games out in US and Jap arcades but these new chaeriters are only in the PS3 build.
For get the above, the chariters ARE going in to an upgrated Arcake Version

The last one I played (on a console) was 3. I totally skipped PS2 all together (personal reasons) and I do have good memories of playing 5 at the local theater (great game). It just doesn't appeal to me anymore, I like Namco's premiere weapons based fighting game series Soul Calibur a lot more. And I'm quite partial to Dead or Alive, though I'm sure any sort of sequel will now be even more distant than before.

Baek Dosan (I think that's how you spell it) was one of my favorites from 2, and I liked Ling (cool ending in 3).

Trivia: Ergheiz had Namco written all over it. What was the last name of the main guy? Mishima! Just like the Tekken guys (Heihachi, Jin).

It says sony has a joint contract with namco that, tekken cannot be ported to another home console..thats why there exists a tekken advanced (for gba) so that would normally mean no Tekken 6 for x360. unlike FF and DMC tekken actually has a contract!

but then again we have seen some crazy sh*t this gen.

killer instinct doesnt compare i use to play it on my super nintendo but i loved my fatal fury 3, and soul calibur 4 doesnt even pass virtual figther 5 soul calibur all graphics and star characters i own it and im sick of it virtual fighter 5 is oceans better. tekken is king of 3d fighters most realistic fighter next to virtual fighter, but no game can pass street fighter 3rd strike.
