Not really a diss, it's just a profit-based decision from the developers.

If the cost of the 360 patch is greater than the likely profits from the patch, then the patch won't be made.

Likely the same reason PS3 games don't retroactively add trophies, 360 Eternal Sonata won't have the PS3 enhancements, etc. It's not a "diss". It's business.

This is referring to the 360 patch, in case you didn't understand.

“We’re trying to do it,” said Morel. “It’s technically complicated. The size of a patch is very limited by Microsoft. So if we do a patch it would only be about the new control and the new camera.”

See the whole "IF WE DO A PATCH" comment? Yeah. Thought you didn't.

Then he mentions the NEW SUBWAY CHASE SCENE, i.e. new content, that would be too large to add to a 360 patch.

these guys spout the company bottom line when they are employed by said company, but this is just business.

Phil has no affiliation with Sony anymore, and his job isn't to line Sony's pockets with money. it's to line ATARI'S pockets with money.

he will take whatever strategy is necessary to get this to happen. Atari will continue to be multi-plat for the foreseeable future, but what they need to concentrate on, and which ties into their goals of getting their "phat cash," is learning to make some quality games.

Phil Harrison has proven he knows how to turn a large companies rep around (and he did it in the span of a year), so i won't expect the fruits of his labors to appear on games that have been in development for years already. maybe in another year or two, we will see this "new" Atari. it takes time to develop quality (just look at the PS3; late to the party, but all those decisions that were "killing" the console a year ago, seem to be it's saving grace NOW; ie, HDD standard, Blu Ray, compatibility with large variety of peripherals like external and internal HDDs, cameras, etc, and other bells and whistles).

I've played Bioshock 1.5 year before you will on the PS3. Pathetic.

BTW Alone in the Dark sucks. It will on the PS3 also. They just try to sell the game to those PS3 tards that think: "OMG it will be so good on the PS3 and the 360 doesn't get the 'tweaked' stuff yeah!"

WOn't go up magically just because of a few 'tweaks'. It might get a 6.8 and that way calling it a killer app is way, waaaaaaay overrated.
