and I played the demo, and now I actually want to get this full game. You really get a sense of speed, and the alternate routes making the game a must buy for me now. But it going to have to wait until January, too many other great games to buy this Holiday. And this is coming for someone that don't like Racing games

However, half way through downloading, my ps3 gave me three beeps and shut down, now whenever i try turning it on it gives me the same three beeps and a flashing red light.

My PS3 is dead, perfect timing. </sarcasm>

Thankfully, Sony's Customer Service is on the ball, and i will have another 60GB in my hands on Monday! This demo will be the first thing i re-download.

This whole post was offtopic kind of, but oh well, hope everyone who got a code enjoys it. Feel free to post pictures/videos/reviews for those who didnt get a code (or those who's ps3's broke half way through downloading :'()

I just played it.
it's good.
not perfect but good.
it's almost the same of first. but this is only a demo.
there is 1 track for the single player and 1 for the split screen.
3 vehicle class in total. bike, monster truck and pick up.

m very impressed with this! lots of little things which all add up. Controls are defo tighter, shorter (skippable) death anims, burnout style crumple zone crashes, sun glinting off the other vehicles when caught right, same fantastic lighting as MS1, feels quite a bit quicker (noticable as soon as the race starts, no more crawling starts!), audio much improved (cleaner and more suptle fx), framerate holds up much much better compared to MS1, much quicker loading, texture wise i`d say both games are pretty much awash. Not tried split screen so can`t comment.

I live in Australia so we don't get squat as a handout by Sony or Microsoft for that matter, we generally just bend over and take it :) ahhh the price of a gamer in the land downunder.
Anyhow Qore users you need to log in as the account you bought Qore with before the Motorstorm demo will show up, if you don't and use any other profile it says it isn't available or you have already downloaded it.
Thought I might have to tunnel proxy through a US IP when it didn't show up at first but glad it wasn't that dramatic :), perhaps R2 beta might be more strict hope not.
SONY cut a brother some slack :)

played the demo yesterday, at the beginning it felt kinda weird but after two races it was motorstorm once again lol, splitscreen is a blast, monster trucks are brutal and attack mode is bad ass lol, see you guys online , psn id remanutd5

How is the frame rate of this version? Closer to 60 I would think. The frame rate really turned me off to the original even though it looks really really good.

The Monster trucks are hard to drive but really fun like they should be.

The bikes are more fragile but just as agile like they should be.

I think the vehicle balance across all tracks will be a lot better.
