is that ps3 and wii get ALL TYPES OF GAMES.while 360 is the shooter king of consoles.that's okay but won't sell systems to everybody because that's mostly what you get.just shooters.

7 - again with the only fps

look at ign's releases for ps3 and 360 for 07. ps3 15 RPGs 4 MMOs 33 shooters 360 21 RPGs 5 MMOs 37 Shooters. go to gamespot. ps3 20 RPGs 360 26 RPGs. there are plenty of action, adventure, rpg, strategy, ect games coming out for the 360. everybody just chooses to ignore that to perpetuate the sterotype to justify the sony brand as being better. there will be a lot of FPSs, why, because they SELL. my most looked forward to game this year for the 360 is an rpg. people need to quit using this lame @ss reasoning. look up the titles, and you'll see plenty of variety. (que the standard disagree even though it's completely true)

"Whoa...Nelly!!!", these games coming out for the PS3 make me feel like its 1999 all over again. SNE better watch out; if they keep putting out beautiful looking games like this one, Motorstorm, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, and NBA '07 they might outdo their BD player ratings. Panzer Dragoon not withstanding; games like Drakengard did fairly well on the Playstation 2 and this IS NOT your big brothers Dragon game. This game has kick a$$ lighting and shading with hordes of enemies on screen at once, and motion sensing guidance to boot. Anyone who says this game won't be fun or exciting is a real bitter sourpuss. Looks like 2007's gonna be the year of the PS3 for gamers and videophiles, unless your an addicted porn hound. =]

9 - probably 1 of the best games of the year

no doubt lair is easily the most awaited game this spring/summer its offers something that looks good and gameplay that is gonna be great. Easily 1 of the reasons i bought my ps3

what's the biggest selling games on 360?

what happens to all the other games that aren't shooters?are they selling in the millions?

what was the biggest selling games on xbox?shooters maybe?

do you see any dmcs,god of wars,castlevanias,rygars,the real final fantasy games on 360?

do you see any quirky games like katamari,okami,god hand,eye toy,shadow of the colossus and others like these?

if it looks like a shooter machine,smells like a shooter machine,hmmmmmm...it must be a shooter machine.

see any dragon games on 360?you definitely won't see this one.

from what i've seen project offset will have dragons. garbage looking eragon is about dragons. FPSs sell. that's why there are so many. gta sells. that's why there are so many clones. are you trying to tell me that every game for the 360 now, and all coming out are shooters? i've had back and forth with you before. we've agreed at times and disagreed at others. at heart, you just enjoy games, i know this, but i'm just tired of the every game is a FPS stuff. they're popular, and last i checked, this is still a business. the creators are trying to make money. it's the same reason we see the same rehashed style movies every summer. they make what they think will sell based on previous entries. there are other genres coming out on the 360 period. too human may very well become the 360s dmc. who knows. i know there are plenty of titles that i'm looking forward to that aren't shooters. as far as not seeing lair on the 360, oh well. i won't lose any sleep about it. might be fun, but i can live without it. i didn't say shooters didn't sell big on the 360, and i didn't say there aren't a lot of them. there are, however, a lot of non shooters coming this year alone and in the future.

too many people like to play non-fps games on the x360......mainly because they suck on the x360 and most of the so-called good fps games on the x360 is on the ps3 or is going to be on the ps3, other than of course(yawing)................ ..........Halo. And that is an upgraded "redfaction"(ps2 title) that i didnt like.

11.2 - i take it you've done a poll of every 360 owner.

i'll stay with the sterotypical theme here and say that it doesn't matter if the good FPSs come from the 360 to the ps3 since "not too many playstation owners like FPS". i don't know what everybody else likes. i don't care what everybody else likes. if you were paying attention to my post, you would notice that i was referring to myself. i also have plenty of friends that have xbox as well as the 360 that don't jock halo and like other styles of games other than shooters. oblivion is great, not a shooter. tomb raider was fun, action/adventure. apparently viva pinata is fun (haven't personally played it). the majority of the arcade games are not shooters and people are downloading games left and right. now if you want to talk online, fine, i'll give you that. most shooters have a multi player component. the most played games online are going to be shooters and sports. it's no different on the playstation brand because i'll bet you the most played online ps2 franchises are madden and socom. like i said earlier, FPS sells, period. that doesn't mean that's all every 360 owner is looking forward to. that of course, is MY opinion.
