Sony Apologizes for SOCOM Beta Problems

Edge reports that SOCOM: Confrontation developer Slant Six will roll out a patch on Tuesday as it aims to rectify some of the problems that have marred the launch of the title's public beta.

"Due to overwhelming demand for the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta, we are experiencing load related issues," the company said in a statement. "These issues are causing abnormal latency, disconnects, long load times, login errors and community features such as clans and stats not functioning correctly (or at all)."

another piece of trash report..

its using the previous statement as the main topic, and stating that the update is coming as if Edge has insider info when in fact its the latest update from slant6 stating that some of the issues found in the BETA read it again BETA, are being addressed in today's patch with more to come..

funny i didnt see this type of reporting from these sights regarding ninja gaiden 2's camera control issues, mass effects load times/grainy graphics and frame rate issues..

but they feel compelled to bash or spotlight a beta..

its not even an apology.. an apology isn't needed for a beta, you apologize for a bad release not a beta

because im a huge Socom freak

this game feels to slow

i will probaly buy it anyway but if they can make it run better by the end of the beta i will buy it 4sure

I know Slant Six has only done psp games and this game will not be the best looking shooter on the planet but dam if explosions dont look weak

Its a beta get over it, if the actual game had issues or problems BLAH be lucky you get a chance to even mess with a beta that works or doesnt, dam cry babies
