Pain Update Delayed, sometime in September

Pain Blog:

"The Bad News: Amusement Park will release in September, but not 9-4 like we originally planned. The reason for this delay was at least in part due to our retooling the PlayStation®Network trophies."

Travis said that online multiplayer was delayed until sometime this autumn. It will be a separate update from this one that is coming out. Anyways, it sucks this was delayed. I love this game, so much fun.

Not suprising, this game was enver on target ever. Hell, can you even call it a game? None of their promises have ever reached target date. None of them. They always come through in the end, though and that is what is most important. For those of us still breathing Earth's air.

I'm more interested in HVB, myself. I wish they'd hurry up and update that one. That is easily the best game on PSN to date and easily the best bowling game ever made.

PAIN is an awesome fun game and much better than boring HVB imo.

you think that is the best game on PSN? or is that the only game you have? or you are a real hardcore bowler XD.

but yea imo calling all cars is better, pain is better, vegas poker is the best online poker game made to date in terms of quality and presentation so i like it better. Siren blood curse is ALOT better imo, GT5p is better imo, i can see HVB being the bet bowling game but not the best psn game, we all have our opinion though.

I disagree too, I love Pain. It is colorful, funny, and has gotten a ton of developer support. Sure some costs money, but they gave us a ton of layouts and a game mode for free. Not to mention it has custom music soundtracks, soon it gets trophies, and we are getting online support through an upcoming update. They keep things fresh we new content and said that more characters, a feature called PAINlabs, and a new game mode--"Darts" is in the pipeline. They also keep us updated weekly on progress through painps3.com's blogs. I really dig what Idol Minds is doing, and I have no problem purchasing DLC if I know the game is going to get continuing support and upgrades through patches. I am sold on any future Idol Minds' projects, they are a great team.

yea im looking froward to PAINlabs I THINK, isnt that the one where they have a new game setup ever yweek and if you dont play it that week you can never play it again? im not sure but they are doing something like that and they are going to be making new games every week but only for a week and they get rid of it for good after that, it sounds really awesome.

I am not 100% sure how it works but I now it is something like they set up some ideas they think are good and we get to play around with it, test it out, and let them know if we like it. If we do then, then it will be included as a game mode or feature in the next update. If it sucks, then well...it is gone forever. I think the development team wants us to see what we can come up with too and we can provide some feedback and they can in return retool some elements and give us new stuff. I love the connection the team makes with the fans, it is clear everything they do is for us. Hell, they even run polls for what characters and modes people want on their website.

Pain is hillarious, I can't wait to get this. Buuuut, it seems like I will have to, curses. I'm fine, because I still can't get enough out of Pain bowling with friends, man, when that manhole hits them, its hillarious.
Seriously SCE, YOU have to release WipeoutHD soon.
